It’s a nice flat easy and beautiful trail. Brand new trailhead building is going up as well. Trail was dry, but watch for snakes! We saw two

Overgrown is an understatement. It's currently impassable 5ft passed the train track. Full of weeds and burrs 8ft tall in all directions. (see photo I uploaded) Only redeeming quality was that a train came by while we were down there and got to see it up close and personal. Of course, we got trapped on the wrong side, but it was still neat.

This trail is so overgrown with burr vegetation that hiking is impossible.

This trail has some beautiful overlooks of the Louisville Swamp and Minnesota River Valley. The trail winds through large meadow lands and oak Savannah, dipping into lower, more swampy areas. The low areas can be flooded in Spring and following heavy rains... I'd definitely recommend the hike. Note that the bridge is out where the causeway crosses the swamp making it impossible to do the entire loop at this time. The swamp looks like a large lake in Spring and early Summer. The area is teeming with wildlife. Take your binoculars!

Great variety of terrain and trails. There are a few waterfalls hidden.

Trail flooded at mile 1.4 as of 8/5/19. I found out by taking the long way around Louisville Swamp which was muddy, chest high overgrowth, and no trail at times. Worse conditions than BWCA trails, which is exactly what I was suited for :-)

Sign said loop is closed due to flooding and gate was closed but foot traffic had clearly walked around. Path was about ankle deep sometimes higher with overgrowth. I was unable to proceed due to mud and knee high overgrowth as I approached the river. Still a great day. No one else on the trail (midweek). I added a photo should someone care to see trail condition.

Trail hasn’t been traveled much due to the flooding. Well-marked, easy to follow.

Very overgrown at the moment so couldn't go much further than the train tracks. Was here the end of April last year and saw Eagles, Otters, and a Beaver. Cool trail with Calcareous Fens to navigate around.... if the weeds at the beginning are cut low enough to make it through lol. Lot's of Wood Ticks at this one so pack the spray!

like walking through a swamp, not marked. Not sure if you're actually on the trail half the time.

Great trail for wild flowers
