The maple forest turns brilliant shades of orange, gold, and red in the fall. Eight major lakes and many ponds offer water lovers places to swim, fish, boat, and simply relax. Lake Lida has a sandy beach and large picnic areas for visitors. Drive along the scenic route to observe the wildlife: the park is host to 150 bird species and 50 species of mammals. The extensive trail system attracts hikers, horseback riders, and cross-country skiers.

Great trail and nicely marked so you dont get lost!

actually 7.1 miles for the full loop. Pretty easy, confidently can go by yourself.

Great for snowshoeing

Beautiful fall colors. Some of the trail was also part of the North Country Trail.

pretty by the river but otherwise there was a lot of Prairie. I recommend going during the fall.

solid trails with a few moderate climbs. I've only hiked here in the mid spring season

Can have a full day of hiking if you get off dedicated hiking trails and use the others as well.
I didn't think the trails were very challenging but not totally flat either. The area is pretty and a great way to experience nature.

Gorgeous!!!! Many trails! Be careful not the easiest maps to follow!

This is a fun and challenging trail. The hill is tough but worth the view. The park is not very busy and the longer distance trails were pretty secluded. The trails are pretty narrow and shared with horses so... don't wear running shoes.
