This park is the perfect playground any time of year, offering visitors swimming, boating, fishing, birdwatching, hiking, camping, biking, picnicking, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing and year-round naturalist-led activities. Hikers can explore the beauty of a tamarack bog carpeted with showy lady's slippers, pitcher plants, dragon's mouth, grass pink, and insect-eating sundews. Most flowers are blooming in the bog during late spring and early summer.

Beautiful boardwalk over the bog.

Very nice walking trail, the bog trail is about 1.5 miles so it’s about a 20 minutes walk but it is very nice and cute flowers to see along the way.

For it's size, Lake Bemidji State Park has much to offer. Many trails that are well kept, boat access and rentals, camping. It also connects with a nice paved trail that goes all the way around Lake Bemidji.

Great for biking, walking, birding, boating, camping, etc.

Nice little state park, with easy hiking trails. We walked the "Bog Walk", a great little nature hike with a long boardwalk and plenty of informative signs along the way.
