One of my favorite places to run in the city. It floods pretty regularly. And it can be pretty sloppy off the paved trails. But if you can catch it when it's above water, Crosby's the best.

The paved trails are well maintained, and there's a nice boardwalk across the swamp separating the park's two lakes. And if you feel like exploring, there are single-track trails meandering through the park and along the river. You'll want to wear long pants or tall socks, though -- stinging nettles are everywhere.

I’m excited to see this trail in the spring - it was tough to figure out exactly where to go with large parts being under deep snow with no pack or tracks to really indicate the trail. The most packed portion was leading up the bluffs which was also marked as closed...coming off the bluffs is mostly paved trail so fairly easy but a bit slick in a few spots.

Visiting on a thawing out day after polar vortex, the park was easy to access and the entire loop doable in a couple of hours. Some mud and ice on the north west side. That section was just me, a robin flock and a pair of ducks. Beautiful winter hike.

This time of year and especially because of the recent weather, most of the trail is a solid mess of ice. It's still a quiet relaxing walk through the woods with great riverside views. No inclines, dog/bike/running/kid friendly.

Lilydale regional park was marked as closed to I didn’t do the loop. Cut my hike short and just walked along the paved river path instead. Bummed! Hope to do the loop when it’s open..:

Paved trails on the south side of the lake, and the wooden path between lakes, are lovely. The natural trail on the north side of Crosby is pretty muddy in spots...I suggest long pants if you’re not going to keep to the paved trails. Water appears to be down, so everything seemed to be open.

So many memories! Did the whole thing

Great time but could have the trails marked better so you didn’t have to keep asking people where to go.

pleasant trail. lots of other hikers and bikers, but everyone was friendly. we also saw lots of wildlife (variety of different birds, butterflies, and frogs). some segments are not passable or very muddy due to flooding.

enjoyable trail with a variety of sites (river, forest, quiet residential parks). much of it was technically closed but still accessible. it's not possible to do the entire loop due to flooding and construction.

a nice, relaxing, extremely easy walk. all flat, shaded, part of it is along the river so you may see eagles or other interesting birds. can get muddy and buggy but it's not uncomfortable.

Much Paved and mostly flat from entrance off Shephard road. There are wooded path options and paths that lead back to the river - good to go exploring.

Nice walk, definitely not difficult outside of the climb up the bluffs it is flat for 80% of the trail. Pretty scenic walk along the river then on top along the bluffs; didn’t see many people which made it peaceful.

Nice trails for the ones we could get on. A lot of trails closed due to spring flooding. The Lilydale part of this ride was inaccessible due to trail closed so unable to get anywhere near the bluffs. Enough other areas to ride so still had a great ride.

Very pleasant place to walk. Mostly flat with lots of wildflowers and beautiful cool shade in spring and summer. Several trails within the park. Two lakes and the river to enjoy, plus a small boardwalk over a marsh. Land and water birds and occasional turtles and harmless snakes.

I great place to walk around sunset. I got some lovely photos of the sunset and saw a few beavers. The walking paths into the woods are my favorite. Very muddy in spring.

Fun trail. Can bring your dog and let em run in the water. Good nature hike

Trail up the Bluffs says it was closed, but lots of people walking it. I would not rate it hard either, maybe moderate. Although a lot is on sidewalks the last half, nice walk.

This is a nice place to go if you don't want to travel far and don't want anything even remotely strenuous. Beautiful little park right in the cities. We made use of the pavilion area, which has a bathroom and a large metal fire pit that's great for roasting marshmallows or some hot dogs. Cool place to spend a few hours.

There is a wide paved path that loops around the lake. The better trail is unmarked and will bring you to the Mississippi shore where it converges w/ the Minnesota river. There are a handful of foot paths near the paved path heading to the outer trail.

Very scenic and quiet, like an oasis in the city. The trail along the shore of the Mississippi winds among tall trees and is beautiful, and there is also a trail that includes a wooden walkway through the marsh area for a different type of beauty.

This trail is closed as of July 2016 for construction. No date posted as to when it would re-open. Easy to switch to other side of river though so would recommend doing that. Great views.

It was very beautiful but unfortunately he mosquitos were really horrible! Didn't make it all the way around because we did not come prepared.
