Greatest hike I have done to date!! Went from Grand Sable Visitor Center back to Munising falls. If you use the shuttle service call Altram, 25 per person. Miles are much more than what they claim here, that was the only draw back to the whole experience.

Beautiful loop with amazing views along the shoreline! We hiked counterclockwise and saw Chapel first- worked well for us. We found a perfect lunch spot overlooking the lake. Variable terrain and some mud along the trail. Take care along the edge- especially if hiking with kids.

Diverse hiking along cliffs, beaches, dunes, and forests. Exceptional sandstone outcroppings along Lake Superior, and noteworthy outcroppings in inland forests. Trails can be muddy in spring, and there is usually a cool lake breeze.

What else can you say aside from this being perfect.

The UP at its finest.

I will be undertaking this trail for the third year in a row because it's simply the best out there. Can be done in 3 nights, but 4 nights out there allows for you to really enjoy the campsites and the views. Beaver Creek is the best campsite on the trail. If you're planning on doing this trek, be sure to make your reservations months ahead of time. I will be doing this trail again in August and made my reservations in April to be sure I was able to get the campsites we wanted. Can't recommend this trail enough.

One of my favorite waterfalls in the park. Easy, quick hike to a great waterfall.

Awesome 3 days backpacking. The views were amazing. There is a lot to see and explore. Can’t wait to do again.

Beautiful hiking in this area. The trail is very easy to follow and the views are spectacular! Can’t wait to visit again. Camping in the area is available too and well maintained. Definitely rate this trail 5 out of 5!

Trail was very wet. Many spots we had to walk through open woods, so dress accordingly. Other than that, absolutely beautiful.

Premium hiking. Pack water!!

This is a great scenic trip to take. We hiked in mid October and it was perfect. We hiked from Munising to Grand Marais in 3 nights. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking and I took a ton of pics. Their is not much elevation climbs but the views were amazing. It is a must hike if you haven't yet.

Loved the length and variety of views, as well as the mix of ease and challenge.

Great view, easy and relaxing hike. A bit busy with people for it being rainy but still worth it

This was an easy short walk to a beautiful waterfall. The waterfall is impressive and well worth the quick hike.

Have hiked this loop at least five times, very well maintained and is by far one of my most favorite. When I take friends to the UP I always start with this trail because its easy and very impressive. Being able to walk along the cliffs is the highlight. The other interesting feature is the terrain changes frequently, adding to both the challenge of the trail and its uniqueness.

Top 5 hike in Michigan for sure, if not #1 or #2. Must do it.

Nothing compares to that moment I stepped out of the woods and saw the majestic sandstone cliffs as far as the eye could see. It was as though I had walked to the edge of the world. Lake Superior was pristine and great for a swim in the middle of the hike, and the views just got better the farther along the cliffs I hiked. The only downside was the occasional noisy tour boat.

One of my all time favorite hikes. Started out on the chapel falls side and loved the views of the lake and cliffs. Stopped at the beach campground for a nap in the hammock and lunch then finished up the return on the mosquito falls side. Get there early for a parking spot as the lot fills up quick.

The view is incredible when you get to the cliffs and water. A must if you are into hiking!

Spectacular views. The part in the woods was very serene and peaceful. Very windy along the coast and we had a lot of sand blown in our face and eyes- I had a buff around my neck which I was able to pull up over my face and that helped quite a bit.

Incredible views once you reach the lake

Amazing views and such a diverse trail experience, from wooded waterfalls, to the Pictured Rocks shore, to riverside. Just beautiful. Go early in the morning to avoid too many people!

gorgeous! definitely plan a few days here to really see as much as you can.

This was a great hike!Long but not to difficult. So many views and great nature along the way. This is muddy in multiple areas so dress appropriately. Waterfalls are ehh.. but the lake shore is gorgeous. Bears were in the area the other week so make sure you are prepared and take the correct measures.

Short easy hike with a large roaring waterfall. expect to get some mist on you

Pretty easy walk to overlook. If you're really adventurous you can go down the dunes to the water. Not difficult and easy for families. Not much of a hiking trail but worth it for the view.

Super short and easy hike, and the falls are gorgeous. A true hidden gem in Michigan's Upper Peninsula! Take an hour out of your day and go here!

The best part of this trail is the back four miles don't stop at the waterfalls you'll completely regret it.
