Fantastic trail despite the mud (&melting snow) . Plenty of small paths to enjoy nature away from the main trail. Definite recommend.

Muddy but frozen today. Can't escape the traffic noise of Michigan Avenue. Most views feature ITC power transmission lines. River smells, and Ypsi wastewater treatment plant overflows only partially treated sewage upstream when it rains. Still, it's close, there are trees, trails are cleared periodically, and (with earbuds) it's possible on the many side trails to forget you are in the middle of town. And certain spots are even quite beautiful. Lightly used in the winter... saw 4 people over 90 minutes today.

trail is well groomed and marked. great urban trail.

I run this trail frequently… It’s a pretty easy run, walk or hike and usually not too much traffic. Some cyclists, but plenty of nature. Usually see plenty of deer and other animals. It also connects to the 275 trail so you can follow it north to Hines Drive or south to more metro parks. A real nice place to get away from the city while still being in the city.

Great for dog walking and scenery in most areas. The ITC offshoot is straight and not much to look at except the back of house. Good biking trails for a leisurely ride. Lilley road is closed until 2020

My boyfriend and I walked this trail today, and enjoyed a nice and peaceful hour and a half. The trail is very well kept, and there was very little traffic. We saw a couple of bikers, but other than that it was just us. The Rouge River runs alongside the trail and there were nice bridges every so often over the water. This was an easy hike anyone could do. We plan on coming back once we have all of our backpacking gear so we test out our weighted packs. Definitely would recommend this trail if you live in the area and are craving some nature

This is a pretty good trail to be so close to home. You definitely need your bug spray but besides that I’d recommend checking it out. There are a variety of trails that split off from the main trail, there were so many I have to revisit this place to explore every one.

I suggest you don’t go off trail stay to Orginal trail rather that highlighted red. Ended up in tick farm in middle of woods with no trail to walk

I mean it was alright once you’re on track but I tried following some of the black lines and couldn’t figure it out. I’d go again and again tho
