Pleasant open trail. Well maintained, easy path. Bring bug spray in summer.

The white trail loop at Harris Nature Center is completely paved and well marked. There were two low spots with wet mud today and several areas where soil had washed down onto the trail but they were thin layers. Mosquitos were around so bring bug spray. I didn’t see poison ivy along the sides of the trail. Doesn’t mean it’s not there but I let my dog sniff more freely along the edges. Several unmarked trails branch off the trail. The marked trails for additional hiking are very easy to see and read where they branch off. Very shady. Nature center and playground for kids at the trailhead.

Wonderful trail, very close to mu home.

Nice trail with interesting, varied landscapes. Looks like it would be great for biking. Lots of mosquitoes (early June).
