This was a great little trail! Loved all the bridges and the tree identification guide. Beautiful walk in the woods next to the creek. I think some of the ID trees might have fallen over the years, but I still found more than half on the list. The markers retelling the history of Tyoga were interesting and held my attention. Do wear your tennis shoes. I stumbled upon the trail by accident and hadn't ment to go hiking. But I did make it in my flats, but I do not recommended it.

Easy walk in the woods with interesting history provided along the way. Mosquitoes were abundant, but slow and generally easily brushed away.

Really enjoyed the historical markets along the route. Nice babbling creek. Trail quite overgrown in several sections. Bug spray is a good idea in summer.

We loved this lightly traveled trail. It had historical markers along the way telling the story of the town of Tyoga that was one on that spot. Lots of little bridges, moss covered rocks and beautiful forests makes this a little gem. We saw deer, pheasants and lots of little critters.

A little overgrown in places but well marked and easy to get to. Definitely need sturdy shoes as it has a lot of gnarly roots and rocks. Fun to learn a little history when hiking. Huge old hemlocks and birch. Really enjoyed it!
