Lots of fun! There are some great views on this trail; however I was constantly surrounded by a group of gnats, so that was annoying.

Walked it today with my husband and 2 small dogs. The dogs loved it the interesting terrain and path. But wear bug spray because the mosquitoes are fierce. Also use the gps because like others have said the trail is not marked and there are off shoots that may let you walk in circles. Definitely will walk it again.

Tried to get to 500' elevation gain over at Cedar Hill. Parked at the top and ran up and down 3x. Almost did it. Nice way to get the blood flowing!!!

Tried to max out my elevation gain today and managed to get to 500' on this trek. Nice day in the woods, nice visibility from Cedar Hill and the cooler is still in the hill --- see if you can find it. Gooday!

Some parts of the map aren’t correct, but it’s a super user friendly trail, so you’ll easily make your own loop.

good trail. only saw a couple other people. well maintained. lots of maps. feels pretty isolated in the middle, despite being so close to the city. nice pines and leaf cover.

Really nice loop. Some bushwacking involved but you can avoid this if you want. A really impressive property. Go for it! Enjoy!

Was ok. Not really challenging but nice nonetheless. Be sure to check out all the trees that the beavers toppled. Pretty cool.

A "just do it" kind of day with Tropical Storm Jose just off the coast of New England throwing plenty of wind and rain our way. The trees were swaying and the rain was pouring but it didn't dampen my spirits much. No views from Cedar Hill and all the wildlife was hunkered down so it was just a nice trail run/walk.

What a great property. Did a nice loop today and enjoyed catching up with all the hard work the beavers are doing on the pond. Wow, they have sharp teeth. Continued up Mine Hill and around and then up Cedar Hill for a bit more exercise. Came down the Cedar Hill and Noanet trails past the camping spots back to my car. A perfect day!

Very nice short hike. We did the Rocky Woods recording which is a loop. Not sure why this hike was created as an Out & Back - I would think most people would prefer a loop. We played on some mountain bike seesaws and watched a guy climb the rock wall (very cool). Weather was literally PERFECT. Got ice cream after. JEFB

Definitely in my top 3 favorite local hikes. The forests are well spaced and beautifully green, never shady. The woods are full of interesting glacially deposited rocks. College Rock itself is about 40 feet at the highest and is great for rock climbing, especially due to its close proximity to the trailhead. This makes for a great morning or afternoon hike, it you're looking for something longer you can check out some of the other trails in the area and loop back a different way. I recommend using your tracker because the trails do not have signs.
