Mt. Tom boasts an unparalleled view of the Connecticut Valley north and south, the Berkshire mountains to the west and the Pelham hills to the east. This 2,082 acre facility offers 20 miles of hiking and walking trails; picnicking; canoeing and fishing on Lake Bray; and cross country skiing and ice skating in the winter. Mt. Tom also offers a children's play area. Lake Bray is a small waterbody consisting of less than 10 acres. The Oxbow located 2 miles North of the Route 5 entrance would be an alternative site for boating enthusiasts. Today the Reservation includes about 47 of the 80 tree species found naturally in Hampshire County. Mt. Tom is one of the premier hawk watching spots in New England. Each fall, thousands of hawks and other birds fly past the mountain.

Pretty awesome hike, not too difficult. Would be a nice spot to hike up and have lunch. Definitely wish i chose to hike at sunset or sunrise, some unique views of the valley.

The views along the ridge at the top were very nice, but the "trail" up only occasionally followed an actual trail, a fair amount was dead reconing through the woods. The bottom mile of the trail is an abandoned asphalt road covered in graffiti, the abandoned buildings of what was a ski area are also graffiti covered. The trail down past the B17 site is the driveway to the radio installation that is the summit of Mt Tom. Not exactly a nature walk. The white trail along the ridge is excellent though.

Well marked, definitely recommend continuing on to goat peak and the lookout tower!

Starting at the old museum.Very easy hiking along the following trails. Nature, NET(M&M), Quarry, Keystone Ext., Keystone, Little and finish on the Nature Trail back to the Old Museum. Terrain has roots and rocks in places but mostly level hiking with a few bridges to cross. Many Basalt formations to view

Nice trail, fairly steep with inclines and declines in some areas. Many tree roots, rocks, a couples trees down and a couple bridges. Brought my dogs on leash, they loved it. Was great to do in 66 degree weather, no bugs!

This trail was awesome! Well marked and easy to follow. Definitely recommend adding 0.4 miles and going all the way to Goat's peak for the tower. Incredible views from the top!

It's a nice quick trail. Great if you don't have a lot of time, but want to get outside. The dogs really enjoyed it. There were quite a few mosquitoes.

Started trail off rt 141. Trail was very poorly marked until about 1/4 of the way in. Doesn’t seem like a big deal but there are many connecting trails at the start and it’s very easy to get turned around. Very steep climb from this point with lots of loose rocks making for unstable ground. Reaching the top - yes, great views but totally marred by graffiti (absolutely everywhere), cell towers, and chain link fencing that looked about as inviting as Chernobyl. I headed back the way I came for fear of getting lost. Totaled 1.6 mi and that was good enough for me.

Easy uphill trail with gorgeous views. At the top of goat’s peak you see the 7 sister spread out in front of you. Beautiful!

Nice fairly easy trail. Only a couple of somewhat steep hills. It can get pretty icy in the winter

I actually didn’t do this exact trail because I didn’t realize it was 10$ to get into the park and I didn’t have cash on me so I ended up walking up the road and parking on the side. But I went up to goats peak and it was definitely beautiful and worth it. Also a good amount of shade along the way up so that was nice too. Very buggy though wear bug spray!!!
