Just came back from dog walking and only taking pictures of glacial erratics, small to huge boulders resting on open ledges. Been doing this for about 20 years and every visit is different. The view of Walden Pond from Overlook Path is especially great in winter. Don’t miss Pirate Boulder closer to Beaver Swamp. Just waiting for the no seeums to subside a bit.

Very beautiful and a great mix of terrain - rock, swamp with walkways, shoreline, and forest. Plus you're water-adjacent for a lot of it with good views. Downside, as another person mentioned, is that the northern section hasn't been kept up so you're on your own to navigate once you're off the main road. It's possible to continue up the trail almost right to the highway, just don't count on having a straight shot back. Still a really nice run.

fun rocks up at dungeon rock.

Nice trail run, good mix of things to check out to break up the run. the northern part of the trail is pretty terribly marked tho. I had to keep checking the map every so often. other than that, it was a great day out.

*so pretty* Really nice variety in your experience here - there's a lovely rocky trail that sticks right to the water, with adorable little islands (I'm pretty sure those are looky but no touchy). The towers are nice enough, but more important the view from the fire tower vista is A+. Trails are in good shape, tons of fire roads if you want to choose your own adventure, major downsides are occasional children off-leash and teens smoking pot in the woods.

We loved this hike. Stone Tower was impressive but you can’t walk up it. And the swamp was super creepy cool! Perfect hike with a family and dog. We will definitely be back!! ❤️

The 1st half of this is on a fire road to one of the highest points in Lynn.when you start down from the tower you'll be on single track that is rocky. you'll end up on the the fire road and back out. The tower is often open Tuesday to Saturday. About 9am till 3 pm. Nice views from the tower.

I found the trail to be very uninviting. I’m not sure if I took the wrong trail but it follows the map that was preset by all trails. The woods were just kind of creepy and uninviting after hiking in Washington state for four years.

Great place to hike and bike, and I have a just move to Lynfield and the park is right in my back yard, having fun!!!

Great hike today!

Great hike with Richard, Macy and Gronk!

It’s a great place to go hiking, biking dog walking or running!

Wide variety of paths and difficulty for both hiking, trail running and mountain biking. It can be easy to get lost, so be prepared with a trail map if you veer off main loop.

Beautiful and varied terrain. Only got a chance to wander for a bit, but this is definitely a place I want to return to and explore some more.

Lovely hike!

grab a map at the entrance or download off the web for Lynn woods. trails are all marked with grid numbers and letters. A lot to explore if you use the grid. watch out for special surprises on the trails from ignorant dog owners, as will as some coyotes. Deer do come out on the day, keep your eyes open.
