The reservation is open year round dawn to dusk. Gates open at 8AM. Elm Bank Reservation, located in Wellesley, is one of the most recent parkland acquisitions. The 182 acres of woodlands, fields, and old estate property is surrounded on three sides by the Charles River. The reservation is listed on the National Register of Historic Places for its many elements of estate landscaping. A variety of wildlife, including deer, thrive in the upland habitats and along the river.

Nice flat loop trail. Tried to make a 3+ mile run out of this and succeeded! Parked near the soccer fields then went clockwise along the river trail then did the horseshoe loop. Passed down the private driveway to Dover Road to get to the bridge. I like this loop, got to 3.5 miles.

A nice loop around the property! I tried to find 3+ miles for my run and did it with the help of a detour down to Dover Road and over to the bridge. I also did the Horseshoe loop which added a few 0.1's of a mile. Some nice views of the Charles.
