We love walking this loop with our dogs. It's beautiful from fall till early spring but is overrun with ticks in spring and summer

We had to forge our own trail along the water on one side. The trail is under used and not easily followed. But it was an adventure. We found a hidden camp, an abandoned cottage used as a canvas for graffiti and lots of mud. There’s lots of potential for exploring!!!!

I enjoyed this hike. Quiet. Well maintained. Want to go back.

I didn’t give a 5 because the trail map on here doesn’t seem right. I was not able to go around the lake. The marked trail is much shorter and just on one side. May go back and try to figure out how they walked around. It was a nice hike though.

Trail is great for seeing nature. Today I saw a turtle, a hawk, and a white tailed buck. Trail is narrow, and goes through mostly wetlands, so it will get messy.

Probably is a nice trail but we didn't get very far before we were covered in ticks and had to turn around. People weren't kidding about the ticks, they are bad!

The ticks are bad on the main trail, but if you cross Long pond road and hike the other side you come to a trail that leads down to a bridge where once stood an old dam, you can take it to the powerlines. However you won't get to see all the Atlantic white cedar trees that are present long the main trail

We stopped after 1/2 mile because of ticks. Thought we might have lost the trail until we saw a dog waste station. That is when we discovered we were all covered in ticks. I picked at least a dozen off me.
