I love this sweet park! It has a lovely, wide open meadow, with plenty of conservation efforts, from blue bird nesting boxes, to native plant enclosures, to invasive species removal. There are well worn forest trails, really intriguing rocks formations, and the sparkling Hawkins River to walk by and contemplate. Additionally, there is a small pond which right now in late March is chock-full of egg masses, which we are eager to follow the development of as the Spring advances.
