Super great place to Hike or Bike. I grew up playing on the old Haul Rd. Wow, now I am a senior biking and hiking this area. The Haul Rd. and the main road leading in and out of the Park are both paved. The earthen trails throughout the North Point State Park are in good shape but you may need a map for a few sections. Some trails are access points to fields so don't get confused. The beach area is great to take a break or have a picnic because there are tables and fire grills. You can even fish or go swimming. ** Fishing License is required. ** There is not much shade here so wear a hat and carry plenty of water. The entire area is full of wildlife and all the trails are basically Flat. Today was nice and breezy so it was quite enjoyable. I took my pug here and we had a great time. He could walk the trail easily but it was long enough to get him some good exercise. We had fun watching and listening to all of the birds. The wetland section is very pretty.

I wasn't able to do the whole road because I had my bulldog with me. We paid $3 to park at North Point State Park, walked to the beginning of this trail, explored the cemetery, and went about a mile further before we turned around. Stretches have no tree cover so it gets really hot. It was a nice alternative to the trails in North Point but I will probably wait for cooler temps before I do it again.
