I decided to try some of the extended trails on here. Do not attempt the trails north of Triton Beach Rd or even the trails that appear to connect across the street and loop down to the pond. I was in deep woods and they aren’t real trails. Without my phone I would have been completely lost and stuck! Check the groomed trails at the parking lot.

This was the best hiking experience! Loved the combination of beach and woods!

I would have rated this as easy and do not think the advertised mileage is correct. Other than that his was a nice outing and very relaxing. The shore line part was very relaxing.

This is a very easy but beautiful trail that's secluded and peaceful. recommend!!

Beautiful trail albeit very wet from all the rain (winter time). Looking forward to coming back in the spring.

Beautiful water views (bay & pond). A little tricky to find the start of the trail, but the app got me there!

Great hike, some of the beach was closed, but enough space for everyone. 4 stars because it's not 4 miles in a loop, you have to backtrack and do certain parts of different loops over to get up to the 4 miles, but the scenery is beautiful. Would give it an easy instead of moderate. Also, 4 stars because of ticks- and yuck, ticks.

This place is awesome! It’s a relaxing walk with tons to see! My Aussie (dog) and I started on the beach side so she could swim for a little while. And then we did the pond trail which was really relaxing and quiet. We saw turtles, deer and some people haha. This place was a lot of fun however, I HIGHLY recommend bug spray!!!! Don’t forget it people!!!!!! Haha.

Beautiful! With plenty of parking and friendly park rangers, however, lots of ticks, both deer and dog. My kids had a few one then even with two types of bug spray.

We only walked on the beach side of the park, but it was beautiful and peaceful, while the kids loved it. I would like to come back again. For so close to us, and no entry fee, I suggest it.

Nice, well marked, well walked trail mostly along the edges of the pond, although there is a small section along the oceanfront. Lots of squirrels rustling the leaves and woodpeckers out knocking on the trees. Easy terrain with no notable elevation changes. Met a few folks making their way around on Saturday afternoon.
