Enjoyed this hike. Steep going up but ladders & cable was anchored very well.

The view is spectacular. Fairly easy for the first mile or so and then becomes more challenging. Didn’t do the Woodsum Spur but would definitely like to another time.

Great family hike - beautiful foliage view at 2.5 miles in. We turned around at that point - all in all the 5 mile round trip hike took us 3 hours and 11 minutes, which includes snacks and water breaks along the way. Definitely recommend it!

Easy and great waterfalls. Kid and dog friendly.

Easy and gorgeous

Great hike! Loved the woodsy trails. Last .5 felt really long and can be pretty slippery if wet because of the rocks. Unfortunately couldn’t see any views because of the fog, but will definitely go back!

Agree with positive reviews. A nice hike with some scrambling, especially if you climb up the falls. One point. Your most likely be sharing with multiple visitors rather than finding solitude. The easy access to a super cool water feature attracts waders and swimmers that like to hang out in warmer weather.

I went hiking with my Aunt's who are in their 50s. They spent a lot of time stopping to take photos. I think it was a good length with beautiful views. The views don't come out until you are deep into the trail, but are breathtaking. The path is well marked and I would highly recommend to novice hikers.

Lovely and interesting waterfall, but crowded. Nice stop for a rest after hiking.

Amazing views from the top between trees with wonderful fall foliage. Not a lot of space at the top for picnic, but we find a little one to enjoy the view. Very steep, but extensive and nice to hike. Lovely waterfall on the way back.

For a recreational day hiker like me, this was a hard hike. I highly recommend hiking poles. The section from the lean-to to the top of West Baldpate is extremely steep as well as very slippery. I don't know if this part of the trail is always wet, but the water running over the granite slabs made it hard going. To get to East Baldpate, the trail goes down several hundred feet before going back up. I didn't know if the trail was as wet on that side so I decided to go back. It was not fun returning back to the lean-to. On my way back I took the blue spur trail to Table Rock which had a nice view. I ended up hiking 7.28 miles with 2844 feet of ascending.

Wonderful fall time walk. Going down to the gorge was very slippery but So beautiful. The dogs loved it.

Solo hike on 9/6. Went up the eyebrow trail to Appalacian and the to firetower on summit. Returned via Appalachian trail to parking lot. Would not want to descend on the eyebrow trail if trail is wet. Had a great time even though I got drenched. Only met 6 folks, all solo. Two were thru hikers.

Great hike except the writing on the signs are not readable. We went counter clockwise up Woodsum and did the summit twice. Great views!

3 of us in our 60’s hiked it yesterday. We have a couple health issues between us so we took our time going up with a lot of breaks.Seemed never ending but eventually got to the top.Great view from the fire tower.A few aches and sore muscles today but glad we did the hike!Weather was nice,60’s and not windy.

This is a great hike but people need to be aware that this is not a 6.6 miles, nor is the description above accurate when it says its an easy mountain (this seems to relate to finding the trail). As people note, its more like 3.8 in (so closer to 8 total), and a fairly challenging hike, though the trail is well maintained. Top is not totally clear, which is disappointing, but there are nice views on the way up, and from the fire tower at the top (if you are ready to climb a 40 foot ladder). As many note, if you can handle a steep initial climb its nice to do the eyebrow trail up, and the AT down. Some good views on the last part of the eyebrow trail. Overall a nice hike! Maybe not my favorite ever, but nice.

Quick and fun hike with lots of parking at the trailhead. I went up the AT portion to the top, but I hear the full loop is fun if you're game for scrambling. Did the hike with a 4 year old who walked the whole way (with several breaks).

I am in no means fit. I took some breaks, picture breaks and took my time. My boyfriend and I went of Orange and came down blue. It wasn’t necessarily hard except for the steepness. Don’t wear non-ankle supporting shoes. Get actual hiking boots or supportive sneakers.

I would do it again! ⛰

more like 7.6 miles as the signage says 3.8 from trailhead. hike was challenging but overall i’d say just OK as far as payoff for level of effort. the 360 views are great but this was not my favorite trail. only a few views on the way up otherwise you’re covered in the trees

Easy hike in with a epic experience. This place is Great for all ages and you can spend a hour just checking it out or the whole day just hanging out in the pools.

Rolled my ankle but still had a blast!

great hike! we did the eyebrow up and the at down. challenging enough without being a killer. views were ebautiful in several spots, and the view was incredible from the fire tower.

This is a nice trail right on the Maine/New Hampshire border, it gains a fair amount of elevation over a short distance, so it is a decent workout. The view from the tower is great, and there are several spots along the way up with very nice views. I enjoyed being able to see the White Mountains at the same time as Maine's western peaks.

Great view, fresh mountain water to dip in. It has several natural holes to sit in .I could get a book and just sit there for hours. It’s a short hike to the top. I would love to come here in fall. .

Great hike! Lots of small lookouts with beautiful view. Definitely not meant for trail running, steep incline but with very well set up stairs most of the way. Beautiful view of a few waterfalls. No bugs this time of year!

This trail is not for the faint hearted as I have done it four times. Countless PUDS but the views are spectacular. Probably best to hike with a companion Good cell phone reception through out to keep contact with family and friends

Went up the orange trail. Was defently a good hike. pretty steep and aloat of bolders. Great views from the top. recomend orange up and blue down

We hiked up the orange trail. It was a lot of stairs and bouldering. Great views on top. The hike down blue trail was a walk in the woods

Loved this short hike to the falls. Great for a little cool swim after hiking some of the more difficult trails in the area
