fun and easy hike! always full of people with their kids.

clean, well maintained trails. dog friendly.

Bradbury Mountain is perfect for families with young children. The .2 mile summit trail is the most direct way to the top, so it is fairly steep in places. However it was still very manageable for my 7 year-old son.

There are a beautiful network of trails throughout the park and they are all well marked. If you’re lucky, you may cross paths with a whitetail deer.

Trails were clearly marked (easy to follow), would say a very beginner friendly trail. $4/adult to enter park (pay at the gate). Dog friendly (must be on a leash), heavily trafficked. We went in mid April and there was still some spots that had snow, other parts were very wet! We stayed to the trails on the parking lot side (there are bathrooms), there's more trails across the street by the campground.

Took northern loop trail to the top of the mountain. Great views. A hawk watcher was there and we saw a bald eagle

Great views for such a short hike.

Love the Northern Loop & Boundary trails. Varied forests & beautiful trails.

This was a fun hike overlooking the forest; a canopy of colorful leaves could be seen in all directions. If you look very closely with binoculars then downtown Portland and a small glimpse of the ocean is possible.

Great short hiking trail. Great for families and pets.

Easy, pleasant, wooded, better views than one deserves for so little effort. Perfect for days when you just have to get out and hike, but you’ve got plans later. We followed the outskirts, Border Trail. Probably the best view for the easiest climb that I can think of, except maybe for Monument Hill in Leeds, Maine.

Short, easy hike with great views of Freeport coast. Heavy traffic.

love the view from the top and very dog friendly.

My kids like this trail - quick and challenging going up to the summit, then you can pick from a number of trails to come back down. The view from the summit is lovely, though it can be a bit crowded especially in autumn.

Great easy hike. Well groomed and marked.

Great hike! Three in party... four year old, adult, and senior. Took Northern Loop with Ski Area short cut both up and down. Very nice hike; all trails "as advertised" in trail map. Had to remind my son to mind his footing on the roots... only ate the dirt once... and it was his own fault. Highly recommended for all ages!

Quiet clean trails with some great views. Most trails are easy enough for most people, there area few more challenging trails as well. overall beautiful place.

Very short hike.
Several signs were missing, labeling trails heading back down the mountain.
It was very foggy, so the views from the top were not great.

Although this area does get pretty crowded and the hike itself is short, I like that there are a few different trail options to make the trek a bit more exciting. This place is great for kids with plenty to do, as there is a playground at the base and quite a few picnic tables. And regardless of how easy the hike up the mountain is, the view at the top is still one of the best.

Fun little hike!

Not enough water view to make it worth the mosquitoes. There are also some steep parts made treacherous by pine needles. I'd be willing to try it again in early spring or late fall when there are fewer bugs around.

Great view from the top! 360 degree view! Panoramic!

Great views, very easy hike, trails could be more clearly marked.

Dog friendly with beautiful vistas

Dog friendly, nice vistas

Easy trail and not that exciting, but I was there during Fall so the colors were great! I would give it 3 stars if I had gone any other time, but Fall.

Easy trail for families and even trail runners. Does get quite crowded. Nice views at the top. Summer bonus: strawberry picking at Bradbury Berry Farm (near the base of the mountain)

Good for small children.

great easy hike with nice views !

trail running

Great local trails, especially for running and mountain biking. I made it more challenging by including Tryon Mountain. Parts of this trail system are as beautiful as many wooded mountain trails in the Whites. No mountain views, but there is one vast summit view toward the coast. You can see Mt. Washington from Tryon in winter, but only if you climb the rockpile and peer through the leaveless birches.
