Easily the best trail i've done! A good challenge too!

Walking on water? well, sort of. this hike is more neat for the fact that you walk out across a sandbar to access Bar Island at low tide. Pretty unique, and an easy hike

this loop has a little bit of everything, hiking to a peak, hiking down to the beach, and hiking along the rocky oceanfront. would suggest doing this trail a day before doing Cadillac to get your legs warmed up.

As previously stated, this hike feels a bit longer than it's distance. Mostly rocky, descending it a bit tough on the knees and ankles. however, it's a fun hike, would definitely do again (hopefully with views not smothered by fog). wear sunscreen!

There are 3 ways to get up/down the mountain. We were hiking with a dog and one route is not dog friendly, so check with the ranger stations. One path is no joke, hiking over boulders. The views were worth it!

Terriric shaded rock scrambling without exposure. There's a ravine with some wooden ladders that runs a couple hundred feet as an alternate trail to the slanted flat rocks. Views of Jordan pond, Eagle lake, Mt Penobscot, and southern islands and the Atlantic are pristine. Starting from Jordan pond we took the Jordan pond path north, Bubbles trail north, then Pemetic northeest and back down the South ridge trail to return to the parking lot. 6.5 miles and about 5 hours.
