Acadia National Park attracts more than two million visitors each year. With many different facilities and attractions in the park, there is something to interest everyone. Hiking and mountain biking are among the most popular activities in Acadia National Park. There are freshwater, estuary, forest, and intertidal habitats and 158 miles of hiking trails. Acadia National Park is open 24 hours per day, but the Visitor's Center has more limited hours. It is open from 8:30 AM- 4:00 PM, except for July and August when it is open 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM. This Visitor's Center is closed November 1 through April 30 every year. Entrance Passes: Acadia Annual Pass - $55.00 Valid for 12 months from purchase date. This pass provides access to Acadia National Park only. This pass admits the pass holder and passengers in a non-commercial vehicle.Acadia Entrance Fee - Private Vehicle - $30.00 Admits private, non-commercial vehicle (15 passenger capacity or less) and all occupants. Valid for 7 days. If a vehicle pass is purchased, no other pass is necessary. Acadia Entrance Fee - Motorcycle - $25.00 Admits one or two passengers on a private, non-commercial motorcycle. Valid for 7 days. Acadia Entrance Fee - Per Person - $15.00 Admits one individual with no car (bicyclist, hiker, pedestrian). Youth 15 and under are admitted free of charge. Valid for 7 days.
