Nice easy hike. Lots of signs describing the different trees and ecosystems. Very nice welcoming center with friendly staff. The Louisiana State Arboretum is a preservation area, so no dogs or other pets are allowed and is foot traffic only.
The trail surface is boardwalk or gravel and typically between four and six feet wide. The grade is moderately steep, with several sections between 8% and 12% so assistance may be needed on this trail or all-terrain or motorized mobility equipment or strollers.Show more
