So muddy, but the arch was pretty cool! We were the only ones on the trail today (a Tuesday afternoon).

It was a rainy day and the trail was muddy but we had it all to ourselves. It’s a nice hike.

A beautiful trail but not well marked. Deviates from what the GPS says is the actual trail at certain points as you can see from my recording.

Lots and lots of trees down and boy it was tough in spots (but I’m overweight not very active and a smoker) but was definitely an adventure! Flys and gnats where horrible! Wash mostly shaded throughout which was nice! Definitely will do it again completed ours in 4 hours and 30 mins ended up being 10 miles total with a slight detour!

Not too bad of a trail. Roots everywhere so a little rough on ankles, but definitely worth the view at the point!

Nice trail but not as impressive as I though :(

Hubby and I did this a week ago and had a great time. I rate the trail a 4 star because the trail markers are terrible - no mileage and half are weathered and unreadable or broken or not to be found. Glad we had All Trails, compass and park map. We stumbled upon this trail from laurel ridge. In all we hiked about 4 hours. Took the Skylift to top of Arch then off to the left to see Lover's Leap and Battleship Rock. Down Devil's Gulch to Original Trail to end at the bottom of the Arch. Then back up to the Skylift. Devil's Gulch is a bit tricky at beginning where the stairs are formed by rock. We took it down backwards and it was better. Then nice wood staircase. Nice way to celebrate 30th Wedding Anniversary.

Beautiful rock face past the grotto

Great trail! Recommend going doing down Balanced Rock trail. Nice overall hike!

Signs that say no dogs allowed.

Had a great time on this trail. The rock garden trail was the definitely the way to go, and the natural bridge was beautiful. Loved the lookout on the way back where we could see the bridge.

Amazing as always!

Some of the outer/less used trails split but are not marked well. The trail itself is well worn but signage could be better at times. With that said, easily 5 stars.

My wife and I are in our mid to late 50s. We are both in good health and are physically fit. We enjoyed the hike. We thought the trail was easy and would have liked something a bit more challenging. Nonetheless, there are some beautiful woods along the trail.

Beautiful quick hike with Aunt Jackie. Sweet little climb. Brings you right up to arch. Great view from the top of the natural bridge.

Great trail away from everyone else except the birds. Became more populated right near the Natural Bridge. In shade of the trees almost the whole way. Start at Low Gap Trail sign in parking lot of Skylift if you want to go up lots of stairs or start at Hoods Branch Trail sign near mini golf and snack bar if you want to go down a bunch of stone stairs. Definitely recommend the optional 0.75mile upper loop, was a little overgrown, but lots of amazing rocks to see.

did some running on this last weekend with a good friend. Hardly anyone on it before 8:00AM so it was perfect. loved it, can't wait to run the Rugged Red in September.

excellent veiws

Good hike. Lots of stairs.

awesome! muddy in places but a beautiful trail that runs along a creek.

Great trail. Very easy. Beautiful view of natural bridge.

Amazing views! One of my favorites ❤️

Nice ridge line trail

The trail was not especially scenic but was nice timber. The adjacent full loop adds alot if your time allows. However it is more demanding.

I’ve never been on a trail that was this short with such an amazing view! Definitely recommend.
