By far, my favorite way to get to the bridge. Plenty of interesting rock formations and foliage. Would love to get there when the plants are all in full bloom.

Quick and easy. If you just want to see the bridge, this is the way to go.

Definitely steep but beautiful! Wish it were dog friendly

Great hike, was very hot but view was well worth it.

Rewarding trail in it's own way. Not for wilderness and solitude seekers as it is a heavily used and improved SP trail. it is gravel paved the whole run up outside of wooden or stone stair cases. It is a steep climb so don't be fooled by the very short mileage to the top. Informational signs along the way describe the history of limited selective logging so it is a mostly undisturbed old growth area as well as to point out CCC projects, wildlife information and other historic notes. Since my last trip there about a year ago I'll note there were several guard rails that are severely weakened and some trail erosion due to all the rain early this year. Very impressive views from on top of Natural Bridge and after a short, easy walk along Laurel Ridge trail past the ski lift you get a view of the whole bridge across the way.

I recommend this trail for families of all ages! Our ages (53,37,12,10, and 7) we all enjoyed it. I would consider us beginners and it was fairly easy. Seems steep, a few steps, but totally worth it! I’ve been several times and I feel the best and easiest time to go is early morning.

Easy trail with beautiful views.

great trails excellent scenery

A beautiful trail but not well marked. Deviates from what the GPS says is the actual trail at certain points as you can see from my recording.

Hubby and I did this a week ago and had a great time. I rate the trail a 4 star because the trail markers are terrible - no mileage and half are weathered and unreadable or broken or not to be found. Glad we had All Trails, compass and park map. We stumbled upon this trail from laurel ridge. In all we hiked about 4 hours. Took the Skylift to top of Arch then off to the left to see Lover's Leap and Battleship Rock. Down Devil's Gulch to Original Trail to end at the bottom of the Arch. Then back up to the Skylift. Devil's Gulch is a bit tricky at beginning where the stairs are formed by rock. We took it down backwards and it was better. Then nice wood staircase. Nice way to celebrate 30th Wedding Anniversary.

Great trail! Recommend going doing down Balanced Rock trail. Nice overall hike!

Had a great time on this trail. The rock garden trail was the definitely the way to go, and the natural bridge was beautiful. Loved the lookout on the way back where we could see the bridge.

Amazing as always!

Great trail. Not very strenuous, steep in a couple places but not too bad. Gravel for the majority of the trail.

Beautiful quick hike with Aunt Jackie. Sweet little climb. Brings you right up to arch. Great view from the top of the natural bridge.

Great trail away from everyone else except the birds. Became more populated right near the Natural Bridge. In shade of the trees almost the whole way. Start at Low Gap Trail sign in parking lot of Skylift if you want to go up lots of stairs or start at Hoods Branch Trail sign near mini golf and snack bar if you want to go down a bunch of stone stairs. Definitely recommend the optional 0.75mile upper loop, was a little overgrown, but lots of amazing rocks to see.

did some running on this last weekend with a good friend. Hardly anyone on it before 8:00AM so it was perfect. loved it, can't wait to run the Rugged Red in September.

excellent veiws

Good hike. Lots of stairs.

Great trail. Very easy. Beautiful view of natural bridge.

Amazing views! One of my favorites ❤️

I’ve never been on a trail that was this short with such an amazing view! Definitely recommend.

Very easy, great for all ages.
