2 dogs and 2 adults. We are not in shape but this was so beautiful and fun. will say we wore our butts out. one small dog was carried halfway through in dog backpack. This is not easy by any means but doable if you are in ok shape. Be careful some areas are slick and I fell on my butt once. Very pretty and worth it. Great for the dogs they loved it! Be careful if you have small children. I would have been nervous if my kids were with us and they are 10 and 12 but they could have done it.

I absolutely loved this trail. We took the Original trail up to the bridge and took this trail back down. There are A LOT of steps and some cool features along the way.

This is the quickest and easiest trail up to Natural Bridge, but it is still quite a hike. There are benches along the way if you need to rest. I suggest taking this trail up and the Balanced Rock trail back down if you're looking for a somewhat quick trip. Balanced Rock trail is beautiful, but has A LOT of steps.

Very short hike uphill. I parked at Natural Bridge State Park for free and walked to Whittleton Campground to access. Cave is small. Waterfall runs into cave after a good rain. There's a loop after the arch/cave with cool rock features, rock walls, but nothing stands out on the loop that's a must see and you can stop at the cave.

This trail is uphill most of the way and I’m not sure if I’d call it an Arch, it’s more of a hole in the ground with an opening (accessed with stairs) next to it and a small waterfall. The trail keeps going past it and loops back around taking you past some huge rock formations and a few smaller overlooks. I’d recommend doing this trail first and fills it up with the Whittleton Branch/Arch Trail both start in the same campground.

If you have dogs, I recommend starting the low gap trail - the rock staircase is very steep, which is a lot easier so do going up & fresh at the beginning with dogs than down & tired at the end! That’s the way we went & we had an amazing 4.9 mile hike.

Beautiful views!!! Did a sunrise hike (6am). Minimal bugs, no ticks seen. Trails well maintained with easy footing (sand/dirt). Trails fairly well marked, could of had more info on them, like mileage and if it was a loop or not. Bridge was stunning! Amazing views at the top! Did have to do some of the smaller trails (lovers leap, battleship) to make it a 3+ mile hike. Only .8 miles to the top of the bridge. Easy parking access. Would say easy/moderate hike level. Overall great hike!

Trail is marked almost all the way. Incline no climbing or scaling of rocks required.

Great trail easy to travel, slightly crowed but typical for a beautiful Sunday afternoon. There are other trails that are less crowded and a bit more challenging that also get you to the Natural Bridge but this was a quick and easy up and down.

Such a cool trail! A great way to hike up to the Natural Bridge and beyond without so much traffic. Going down Devils Gulch is fun. Go early to avoid crowds.

The trail is pretty steep for an easy trail. It is a beautiful site and this trail is doable for most anyone, for sure.

Short, steep hike to natural bridge. Wooded most of the way so not really in the sun. We did this 7:30 am late July and it was very muggy and humid.

Great trail and well worth the view at the end! The second half of the trail isn’t marked well, can be sort of confusing, as many people mentioned it’s best to have a trail map app to navigate. The last half of the trail gets really tight, the path is narrow but the tree markers are very useful. Weren’t may people hiking this trail so I was able to sit alone and rest with a spectacular view for quite some time. Probably the only spot I’ve hiked to at the Gorge that offers a a 360 view.

We thoroughly enjoyed the natural bridge. However, this is not an easy trail. This should be rated moderate, at the least. Beware, this trail is step heavy. A lot of the steps and slopes are uneven and slick. The less experienced of our group did not make it very far. The more experienced hikers required lots of stops and hydration. The views are worth the climb. Just note that it’s very much a challenging climb
