There are dozens of awesome trails here. All Trails doesn't show all of them. Get on LBL's website and get the map. I've posted a picture on here of my map.

Great trail, I logged it as 4.8 miles, not sure about the disparity with AllTrails. Beautiful forest with dogwood and redbud blooms, and of course the serenity of Honker Bay.

Nice and easy. Bit muddy after the rain but that’s to be expected. Lake views.

Lovely trail! Super easy stroll. The trail does get a bit muddy but is easily bypassed.

Great campground and easy walking trail.

a chance to see different terrain, from lakeside to heavy wooded area. Overall nice trail.

fun trail with great views of the lake.

Nice variety of terrain and views of the lake. Recent storm left a lot of debris on the trails.

Nice little trail. Low end half way around had damage to the boardwalk but was passable during our visit.

If you are looking for a trail with some small hills, and by water- I would recommend this trail! about 5 miles long, good for a walk/run. after a rainy period, be aware that it does flood in some places.

Gorgeous views in the spring and summer. The lotus blooms across the water make the lake so pretty. Watch out for snakes as I have seen some in the area. You can kayak and canoe here as well but you have to reserve your boat at the nature center register on the hill above.

Great trail! Beautiful scenery spring through fall. Lots of wildlife : Wood ducks, mallards, and even a beaver dam. Gorgeous views of the lake. Be on the lookout for snakes though. There is a gorgeous spillway waterfall at the beginning where you can walk across the water on stones. I have taken my 6 yr old several times. First time he was about 4. It's suitable for all ages.

AllTrails' map only shows ONE trail, PIckett Loop, of this extensive trail system that runs from Boswell Landing Backcountry Area to Piney Campground to the South Welcome Station. There are literally dozens of miles of beautiful, wide, easy-to-moderate trails here. Get the actual map from landbetweenthelakes.us and plan a hiking or backpacking trip. It's well worth the time.

Absolutely loved this trail!!! The scenery was awesome and we even saw a deer! Can’t wait to do it again.

It's a pleasant trail but badly in need of maintenance - although the "closed" boardwalk section was easily passable. I would agree with other reviewers that this is an easy trail, not moderate.

Easy trail. Was great to be close to the lake.
I'd do it again!

My son and I did a 16 mile overnight hike there this week end. There were plenty of springs and wild life and we only saw two other people the whole trip. This is a great trail system because you hike for a few hours or a few days by utilizing the different trails to make different routes.

First time riding this trail. I plan too go back again.

Easy loop hike for all ages, crosses a couple bridges, lots of neat flora and trees here as well. Walking between the two lakes is a very windy but peaceful experience.

Completed the Pickett Loop today just fine. Marker #24 was gone and many trees were down across the trail. Reported that to the welcome center and she said she would pass it on for clearing. If marker #24 is still missing when you go out, just stay on the main path and you'll wind your way back around to #23 and make it back to the trail head #1. Where all the trees were down was overgrown some so I don't think it's been walked much lately. You feel like you're off the path but just keep moving forward and when it cuts back away from the water and you starting going up in elevation you know you've made it through. The blue markers are still there to affirm your path. Spent a good 4 hours hiking two trails and going for a swim.

Great trail with scenic views and tranquility. Easy for kids too!

It is a beautiful trail, but I wish they would fix the part of it that is damaged so that the whole trail can be done in a loop.

This is a beautiful trail. I enjoyed the birds, deer and the pretty lake views. I did wish for some benches along the way.

Great hike. Beautiful, peaceful
