some trails are a little overgrown but it was still a good run.

Very few people at the park on a Monday morning. Beautiful trees and vegetation. Gentle, rolling hills

Needs to be trimmed with a weedeater in places. Starting to get overgrown

It was a good trail for a 14 week old puppy. A lot of evaluation changes which was nice. Kinda upset it was the only trail that allowed pets. But that’s fine.

On our trip to Audubon Park with our dog we happened across this trail. It was what we hoped would be a great start to a day of hiking. Sadly this was the only trail in the park that allowed dogs. Not a bad hike but we like to spend more time when we visit. Not sure why they restrict dogs on the other trails.

Awesome change in elevation, well maintained trails. Short but strenuous

Lots of varying elevation in a trail for this area. High canopy, above a well maintained trail.

Hiked loop around and back to make it 2 miles. Signage is confusing. Definitely no pets or dogs allowed despite what this app says. Saw a small herd of 8 deer.

This loop includes the Backcountry Trail, which is 1.5 miles and pretty vigorous, plus a couple of other trails. The entire loop is nearly 3 miles and very hilly but quite enjoyable.

Did this at Christmas time while visiting the in-laws. Very runnable trail. Did the “back country trail” in addition to the wilderness loop and it came out to a little under 4 miles with about 560 ft. elevation gain. Saw some great wildlife too with some deer, woodpeckers, and cardinals. Will definitely be doing this trail every time I’m in the area.

One of my favorite trails in John James Audubon State Park. Not very hilly and well-maintained. Several nice foot bridges. Watch for ticks in the summer.

Very short, easy for walking, and well-maintained. Part of a larger trail system in John James Audubon State Park.

This trail is short but fairly difficult. Very steep hills with a lot of tree roots. Watch for ticks in warm weather.

Longer and a little harder due to elevation but nothing to extreme, the trail drops down to the valley floor and walks part way along the creek. Woods offer large trees and huge grape vines. Nice trek especially in the early spring, when the leaves are just starting to form. Allows you to still see the terrain but still see green. Birds are a big part of this park and have many activities surrounding them. Chirping through out this trek makes it especially nice.

Nothing to exciting, kid friendly, educational on how land developed. Nice trek. They recently added metal plaques with addition info on plants, trees, animals and birds of the area, great for children’s education and introducing them to the outdoors.

They say moderate but mostly easy, some incline. kid friendly, abundant trees and history on woods.

probably my favorite of thier trails, traverse ground, bridges, wooden walkways, lake view and wild life make this an interesting trek with a variety of views. Nothing to extreme but could be considered challenging for some.

Really enjoyed our hike to see fall color. Challenging enough to get the blood pumping.

Great fall color! This one was almost too hilly for the younger kids hiking with me.

I run this trail often, love it!

This trail is a little bit of a workout with the hills. I've hiked this trail several times over 5 years and I have always come across other people on the trail. The rain washes away the dirt and makes the trail more challenging on the hills. Warning: not everyone keeps their dogs on leashes so pay attention, especially around the corners.

Nice day hike for the family inside of Audubon State Park. Peaceful and easily accessed. Connects with multiple loops if you want to carry on.

Very short trail so not worth a special drive out of your way, but if you happen to be in Henderson, KY. During a portion, it does have a very steep stairway. Always have to catch my breath after it.
