Conditions not too bad considering the epic rain we have had the last few days. Top of it dumps you off at the park, nice paved trails to make it into a longer walk

This is a great trail. It's a super workout.

Fairly easy trail. It's a good one to get a short hike in. The trails weren't as muddy a you would expect.

Full disclosure, to adequately describe the conditions of we were in, half way through we got a flash flood warning on our phones. It is wet wet out. For the first .3ish miles we went uphill in basically a creek from the fast flowing water. It was fun but made the hike a little harder. The trails also intersect making it really hard to figure out what you’re actually on. It was a lot of fun though and if it was less wet, I would probably give it a five. Skip if there’s been heavy rainfall.

Its well maintained even in muddy patches. Definitely a shared trail w bikers - which was fine. Dont expect a Nature trail...not much to see beyond the incinerator ... but it was a great break and we had a lovely time- although I probably won’t go back

Took the kids on this trail today. It was our first time ! We all enjoyed it very much. A little muddy in some places but overall not bad at all. There were plenty of places to rest along the trail. Definitely will be back !!!

Love these trails! They were mostly dry today and only a handful of people on them. Note that this is a biking and hiking trail so on-coming bikes are tricky.

Tried this trail as our first hike of the year. The first 30% of the trail wore my legs out. Definitely deserves the moderate rating. Trail was slightly muddy, but better than most. Various opportunities to lengthen the 3.5 mile. Solid trail. Recommended.

Hiked it with my 14 month old on my back in his Osprey. It was a lovely hike with beautiful views.

Great trail. There were a good amount of people there but it was very easy to get away from people on the trails. Very pretty this time of year with many flowers and trees.

Lovely trail! Lots of mountain bikers. Well maintained and great signage.

Well maintained trail, safe walk/hike that most any able-bodied person can complete (my girlfriend’s chihuahua did it without being carried). Has lots of flora to observe; maybe a few squirrels in terms of fauna, but that was it. The proximity to the train tracks was cool and saw one train lumber along during our stroll. The abandoned building with all the graffiti at the trailhead was neat to look at but I am not 100% on the structural integrity, so proceed with caution. I would recommend for a super low key workout but don’t look at the trail names (eg incinerator, devil’s backbone) as any indication of their difficulty.

Lots of wildflowers this weekend. Well maintained, easy to follow.

A few mud puddles in dips in the trail, overall well kept and relatively flat.

Trail markers are pretty confusing so we ended up on the wrong one, but it’s a fun trail over all

I love this trail. I run it a few times a week when the weather permits. It’s windy and has nice elevation gains and declines. Usually very quiet.

This is a great trail for adding an extension to your run or walk through Devou. There are many offshoots so there’s lots of opportunities to explore.

Trail was closed as of 1/1/2020 due to trail conditions

Short rocky trail with no stopping points. Brought the dog and he loved it. Would recommend for those looking for a quick adventure. Parking is easy, there’s a lot right across from the entrance.

it is a bike trail, but very challenging for trail running.
