Such beautiful views! It’s not an easy hike but my husband and I did just fine and we’re not very fit. Lots of butterflies on the trail this time of year!

I did this by myself unknowing what to expect. It can be a bit scary because some of the trails aren’t very well kept and you don’t know where to go. I had to use my phone to navigate me where to go. I feel like it a kept secret and no one really knows about it.

The trail is definitely moderate in difficulty but fun! Also, the view at the lookout is incomparable.

We hiked to the West Pinnacle. It was a great hike with some steeper slopes.

It’s very beautiful! I took my dog and she loved it. However a good portion of the trail is overgrown and there is no signage to direct you. Use caution.

Easy hike with some roots and rocks in the last 1/2. Beautiful views at the lookout.

The closest "Mountain Trail" to Cincinnati. Well worth the walk for one of the prettiest vistas in KY.

Beautiful views from the top are worth the slight elevation gains.

Great trails for family hikes. Some elevation to consider but nothing my kiddos couldn’t handle. Views were fantastic.

Absolutely love the Pinnacles. I live nearby and have hiked there for years. My small dog and I enjoy it there despite the fact it can become crowded on weekends and holidays. Views at the top are beautiful and everyone is super friendly there.

Straight up to lookout and Devils Kitchen. A calf and thigh workout! Great breezes at the top but coming back down the same way we went up was a little slippery in areas. Would do this one again- just maybe not in mid-July again.

I hiked the direct route to the top. The .3 mile section that goes straight up was really hard for me but I did it with a broken tailbone. It is steep so pace yourself. The views at the top were breathtaking. I took the longer route back (towards east pinnacle) and that was a longer but easier route. Take more water than you think you will need.

Hike can get tough but not grueling. Great area of trails. If you don’t burn yourself out on the mountain to mountain hike do yourself a favor and see the east pinnacle or eagle (may have been buzzards it’s on the way to the mountain it’s the first bird named trail on the right) roost/nest, fantastic view.

Nice shaded trail for the most part, a little steep for those not prepared for it, but absolutely gorgeous.

For the pinnacles, this route has to be the most extreme in my opinion. lots of climbing up rocks and steep hills. Shaded and wooded, this trail is long, scenic and quiet. Lots of fallen trees so make sure you have good shoes, and a walking stick if that’s something you prefer. Got my workout in forsure, I plan to come back.

Perfect get away when if you don’t like the crowds. Highly recommend the unofficial trail at the back side of the loop. It’s better maintained and has great views in the winter.

Good for trail running or casual hiking. Will be disappointing for avid hikers who are expecting this to be hard as it is rated on the app. Only a few hundred feet of elevation gain right up front and then you’re essentially traversing the ridge to get to various viewpoints on the pinnacles. Surprisingly nice visitors center at the base with plenty of parking. Go inside for a trail map if you need one.

fun to run

Nice trail, well kept. Good place to hike with your dog. It has a few good lookouts at the end of the trail.

Good trail with great views. A little steep and rocky at times but my kids and I made it through pretty easy.
