Fun trail for the first half. The last mile is just a straight paved road and a good chunk of the first half is just following power lines. It was very beautiful out there though and there's a few structures to see.

Evening hike. Tons of spiders and spider webs. Was hard to go 5 feet without a new one across my face.

Gorgeous little hike with views of the Ohio River.

Trail 3 is a loop that is often combined with trail 7, the Rose Island Trail. While there are some worthwhile views, much of the trail is unremarkable, and completing the loop requires going a significant distance on an asphalt path and old roads. Worth doing once, but the park has much nicer trails that feel more pristine and remote.

Amazing trail! If you go early find a spider web stick!

Alltrails messed up our recording. good hike. Interesting attractions. plenty of entertainment. Watch out for copperheads!

Long flat stretches with small periods of incline. Rocky & rooty at times, but nothing too difficult. A couple of river views and falls! Overall a very enjoyable, quick trail

Had a great time. It does cost $7 to get in the park if you live in state, $9 if you’re from out of state. Got switched up on trails a little but made it out. Definitely some cool stuff to see. I think we ended up on trail 7 somehow

This trail isn’t as scenic as some of the other trails in the park, but there are some nice creek views. The trail was fairly dry today, but it would be very slick if wet or muddy. The trail is rocky with a lot of tree roots so watch your footing.

Overall, a very nice walk that is accessible to almost anyone. Most of the trail is very easy with occasional abrupt changes in elevation. The terrain can be a little challenging at times for children or people with physical limitations. There are some very pretty stretches with bridges and small waterfalls. About 1/4 of the total trail is spent on an old abandoned road or under some powerlines.

Tied this in with the 7 the runs through Rose Island. Trail is nice and easy. Nothing too crazy. Paved down to Rose Island, then a well blazed path out. Beautiful and moderately difficult. Mostly the elevation change. Rose Island is interesting, but not really a lot to see. Mostly layout, and markers. Still kind of cool. 6 is the best out here for us.

Very comfortable late May Saturday. Some trail maintenance is needed after a very wet spring. Some trail erosion and a stretch that was very muddy, looking almost like a horse trail (which it isn't). The most negative part of the hike was the people, almost none of whom were wearing masks as though the pandemic is over. IT'S NOT OVER! Please wear face coverings on the trail around other people; respect their lives.

Nice hike. Couple nice water fall areas, and rocky areas. Trail is clearly blazed and at points paved. Really enjoyed it, peaceful and not much traffic. Moderate is accurate for Indiana area trails. There’s some elevation change but not too terrible.

Nice clean trail. Nothing spectacular, but also not blan. Pretty over all. Great warm up or if you trail run, this is well suited. Areas of mud, but over all no issues.

Fun trail with wildflowers and follows a few creeks. It rained yesterday and the trail was extremely slippery/muddy in the majority of areas. Recommend wearing hiking boots with good grip.
