Did an overnighter on this trail for a bachelor party. Good trail to hike. Saw a few mountain bikers on our hike out. The leaves were still thick on the trees so we couldn’t enjoy some of the views others posted about. Overall a good trip. The map shows streams close by: don’t rely on that for water. Pack it in.

We were the only hikers out amongst the mountain bikers. It was a great hike, long but peaceful. We had our dog with us and he did great! We will be back.

Very nice back country trail. Can be overgrown in the summer. Bring your own water or filter.

Awesome thrill ride!

Great vista views. Unfortunately hiked as a mountain bike race was starting. Actually got ahead of the racers.

This is NOT A HIKING TRAIL. This is a mountain bike only trail. It’s a very fast trail with jumps designed specifically for bikes. Very dangerous for hikers.

Did some hiking on the trail. Saw a Rattlesnake, which was fun. Some mountain bikers alerted me about the snake.

Everything turn was challenging yet fun. Can't wait to do it again and again.

Some good reviews here... Not much else to say... This trail is great for distance... Somone once tried discibing this trail to me... Said it was up and down like a roller coaster the whole way with very few bends... That seams to hold true... great trail for hiking at night...

This is a great trail and a good alternative to Brown County State Park. The first 0.7 miles is straight up hill, so make sure to be stretched and ready to go. There is a gravel parking lot at the trail head, but no water is available. The trail goes out and back, so you may encounter riders coming the other way. The terrain is up and down with some good climbs, but there are few obstacles, making it perfect for novice riders and more advanced riders alike. At the far end of the trail, you can connect to a wide variety of other trails that wind through the Hoosier National Forest, so if you are hard-core and want to string together a 20+ mile ride, you can do it from Nebo Ridge. The pay off for the 0.7 mile climb at the beginning is that you get to bomb downhill for 0.7 miles at the end of your ride.
