Awesome thrill ride!

Great vista views. Unfortunately hiked as a mountain bike race was starting. Actually got ahead of the racers.

This is NOT A HIKING TRAIL. This is a mountain bike only trail. It’s a very fast trail with jumps designed specifically for bikes. Very dangerous for hikers.

Did some hiking on the trail. Saw a Rattlesnake, which was fun. Some mountain bikers alerted me about the snake.

Everything turn was challenging yet fun. Can't wait to do it again and again.

Fantastic hike!!

Some good reviews here... Not much else to say... This trail is great for distance... Somone once tried discibing this trail to me... Said it was up and down like a roller coaster the whole way with very few bends... That seams to hold true... great trail for hiking at night...

My husband and I did an overnight out-and-back in late March 2015. We loved this trail! Beautiful ridge line hiking with some great views. It had rained the day before and this is also a horse trail, so the first couple of miles were pretty muddy and the trail was rough. However, once we got to the ridge top, the trail dried out and we had an easy hike from there to the end. There's a small stream at either end of the trail if you need to filter water. We saw one other group of hikers but otherwise this trail was not busy. No "official" campsites, but plenty of places to set up for the night. Tucked away in Nashville this is a hidden gem! We will definitely be going back again. I'd love to see this trail in the fall.

This is a great trail and a good alternative to Brown County State Park. The first 0.7 miles is straight up hill, so make sure to be stretched and ready to go. There is a gravel parking lot at the trail head, but no water is available. The trail goes out and back, so you may encounter riders coming the other way. The terrain is up and down with some good climbs, but there are few obstacles, making it perfect for novice riders and more advanced riders alike. At the far end of the trail, you can connect to a wide variety of other trails that wind through the Hoosier National Forest, so if you are hard-core and want to string together a 20+ mile ride, you can do it from Nebo Ridge. The pay off for the 0.7 mile climb at the beginning is that you get to bomb downhill for 0.7 miles at the end of your ride.
