Best trails in Sand Ridge Nature Preserve, Illinois

This area is fairly well-maintained for the removal of invasive plants. There is a ton of wildlife in the area. Accessibility: In the paved parking lot off of Paxton Avenue there do not appear to be any designated handicapped-accessible parking spaces with striped access aisles. The trail surface is dirt or wooden boardwalk (with edge barriers) and typically at least four feet wide. The estimated grade is gentle (all 3% or less).Show more
