Short, but very pretty. Great trail for kids.

Short, easy hike. A couple of smaller waterfalls, a nice overhang & boulders for kids to climb.

Great, short hike w very impressive cave. This would be a great hike for youngsters because of the cave, huge boulders for climbing & it’s a fairly short walk for kids.

Beautiful trail we actually accidentally found thinking it was the waterfall trail (it’s not lol). It isn’t really difficult, but lots of uphill areas that if you’re not used to that will get your huffing and puffing :) but it was so worth it. Well marked, so can’t really get lost!

Wow! The cave is incredible and the boulders are huge! Very easy trail and I will be back.

Hiked this trail today after a 24 hour rain. The waterfall was spectacular and the tree colors were amazing. The surrounding rock formations were awesome. Did not want to leave the area.

Good trail with nice views.

A beautiful, but easy trail

This short trail loops through a small stream’s surprisingly deep canyon, with lots of sheer cliffs and massive boulders along the way. A great short, easy hike with big payoff.

Easy trail past sheltered bluff.

Trail with beautiful scenic overlooks of the lake at several places. A little harder to follow at the bottom once leaves cover the trail.

Cool Hollow with high rocks on both sides leading to waterfall

Great trail!

My kids loved playing on the rocks at the cave. “My Favorite Hike we have ever done!” -my child
Hiked easily with a 3yr old, 7yr old and 13yr old

We did this trail yesterday and it's beautiful. Can't wait to see it in Spring and Fall.

As with the other trails in the area, the Hawk’s Cave Trail features some really impressive rock formations and massive cliffs. Fun place to explore. I would suggest hiking it clockwise from the trailhead, as this will save the cliffs for the latter half of the trail. The cliffs will seem really imposing when you approach them from this direction.

This is a short hike, but a must see at Ferne Clyffe. The shelter bluff is very impressive.

Very flat hike. In and then back out on the same trail. Waterfall was not running as it is the dry season. But still an awesome easy trail. Benches near the falls for anyone who walks in and wants to relax and absorb nature without having to sit on rocks or the ground.

Nice easy hike along bluffs. The trail is mostly flat. Two small waterfalls and a shallow stream when we were there. Will be back in June with our grandson.

Moderate trail with lush vegetation, some parts have a moderate incline. The cave is a pretty cool spectacle to see. Lots of big trees and rock cliffs, Creeks, wild life are just a few things to see. Interesting would do it again in the winter to see what frozen sculptures nature has created.

This may be one of my family’s favorite trails, yet. It’s perfect for the kiddos and the cave halfway through was awesome! We could have spent an entire day at the cave before ever coming back. We’ll definitely be back. This whole park is amazing!
