the trail itself was awesome but really muddy after a rain, definitely recommend walking stick - has River crossings, cool bridges, and open fields - the parking lot had graffiti and used condoms on the ground so it's a bored teenager hangout but it's in a safe area, looks like a fun mountain bike trail as well

Yellow blaze trail was easy to follow. Without access to the waterfall, there really isn't much to see other than trees, though. We didn't take any blue blazed trails; the park district website stated those would nearly double the length of the trail system. It was a nice walk in the woods, but with Jubilee College having much of the same "look and feel", (and about 20 minutes closer to home) I doubt we'll be returning until the waterfall could be accessed without the fear of trespassing.
