Photos of Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness Bird Watching Trails

We went in to the hot springs and although Algae was present the hot water was relaxing. From there we packed up to the lakes on day two in late July and hoping to find water along the way we found none until we finally arrived at the lakes. Pack in lots of water as the trail is steep and long and the seasonal streams dry. There also is a lot of burn out midway. The lakes have Mosquitoes everywhere. I’ve never seen so many so fly fishing was out. Day three to the top was the best day as the summit has a great 360 view of surroundings. Hoped to see wildlife but did not.
