Road is closed due to snow only made it to the lookout 3/18/2019. Will wait until it melts away before making descent to the falls. Still a great view

I definitely did not do the entire hike. I stopped at the overlook for my photos and walked in the trail for about a mile, then turned back. Was a beautiful area, but had a long day ahead, and thought it was the shorter of two trailheads.

Wouldn't consider it a hike. It's more like something you drive up to and get a few pictures then go back home. Still beautiful though

Use GPS. The trail wasn't obvious. Even when you hit Summit lake trail it's still a little spotty. I took a bear bell and bear spray. Unfortunately I didn't run into any animals. The only place for water is Summit lake. The stream coming out was dried up.
