If you're looking for a challenge with a nice reward this is the spot! Bring lots of water and sunblock, not for anyone with bad knees or ankles

Not difficult trail

Nice to see very easy, march 2016. Only issue was the park itself doesn't have a very easy trail to follow with regards to the map. Otherwise it was nice way to spend part of the afternoon.

Not so much a trail as it is an old set of rail road tracks. If fact, that's exactly what it is. Very short but considerable grade can be challenge for those not used to really using their legs lol.
Great in the morning for the sunrise. And pretty decent view at sunset. Great photos any time of the day. Also really great to incorporate for any physical training you're doing. Throw on a weighted pack and go for time or for a few laps.
In any case, an iconic Hawaii hike not to be passed up.

Hard for those who have fear of heights like me. But if you can overcome it, the view is spectacular. Bring lots of water, sunscreen and camera

This is the Hawaiian Stair Master! I'm so proud of myself for doing it. Great view from the top. I don't know if I would do it again.

Awesome, short hike with good views. Went to Blowhole afterwards. Would definetly do it again.

Fun from the backside. Go up from the ocean side by the Blowhole.

I'll be in Waikiki from 9/8 to 9/14 if anyone wants to plan a hike!

Did this hike for the sunrise this morning to use time lapse. Got to the top about 40 minutes before the sunrise. Best to go early no battling foot traffic coming down while you're going up, aside from the old man that does laps on it. Was busiest when heading back down to the car park around 8. Best to do this one early to save from crowds and the heat. Mind your knees too, bring water and hydrate.

10 minutes... Too short but you can go to the top of coco head in 20 minutes! The sunrise is amazing!
