this trail is great. It also happens to be near one of my favorite fishing spots.

I love this trail but do not like the fact that people do not have their dogs on a leash. I had two dogs growling and running up on me once there and have not been back. I am an animal lover but as someone who has been bitten by a dog I feel like everyone needs to keep their animals on a lease just out of respect to others and the fact that some people have a fear of dogs. Other than that the trail is very nice. I would be mindful of snakes this time of year as there is a lot of camouflage for them to hide in.

Good hike! Nice views of the lake. Very easy. The bridge is out so I would double check the bridge is in working order before doing the hike again. Some very nice DNR officers gave me a ride back across the lake.

Very beautiful and wide Trail so if you have a big group this is a good Trail to go on...only downside was its near hunting ground so kinda nervous with my kids with me on that.

This is a part of the CSRA Bartram Trail area, and it is primarily used by mountain bikers but I think this section of the trail is one of the better actual hiking areas around the area, however it isn't really challenging. There are some ups and downs but no elevation change greater than 100 feet and I'd probably put it closer to 60-80. It is pretty solitary and follows the section of the lake closely. While there are a few trees that are down, the course is extremely well marked and easy to follow. I will be hiking it again, along with the rest of the Bartram Trail.

this is a trail that i hike alot. mostly just weekends, to keep in shape between hiking trips. Mostly i see moutain bikers or a runner here and there. its a fun little trail, however, if you follow the loop you have to cross the Keg Creek bridge on Hwy 104 and people dont look out for you. it's WMA land also, so watch out for hunters in season. good place to hike at night. i have done it 3 times at night and in the snow.
