took my dog here on the loop trail. it's nice .. lush green because you are walking near wetlands and a creek. I saw a box turtle. took 2 hours or less. it was a pretty forest .. good without having to drive over an hour away..

This place has a LOT of different trails. It makes you forget where you're at. It's a nice place for a walk; not much scenery other than trees and a small creek.

Love trail running here. Beautiful place to take the entire family for a hike as well.

We took 6 kids hiking!! It was freezing but we had to get ourselves out of the house. Even in the cold we loved it. The leaves are all gone so it was so beautiful to see through the woods. There is a bathroom in the parking lot and one on the trail. I should have taken a picture of the map... we got lost at one point but we knew we would eventually loop back to the parking lot and we did. Haha the creek was beautiful, lots of cool trees to check out. We will be back on a warmer day!

We did the white trail that turned into different colored trails like blue yellow orange and purple we took the purple it turned out to be a 3 mile hike very easy and nice !

Great trail system, well maintained. I run out there several times a week. Add the “lollipop” loop of the orange blazed Gingercake Creek Trail (NE corner of park) to make it a full 3 miles

Great starter trails

Was great, just moved here and I was looking for something close enough to get a morning run in before work. This is the spot.

Loved it...You almost forget your in Fayette County!! We did the Muscadine trail (purple) and it was a very nice 2.3 mile loop. Will be back for sure!!

Combining the Muscadine with the Gingercake trails is a nice length of 3.5km with about a third of the hike being along the creek. This is a relatively new trail system (opened in 2016) with several picnic areas still under construction. The trails are very well marked. Muscadine is by-far the longest trail, with most others being less than 2k. This is an easy hike with very little elevation change and would be great with kids or dogs. The Ridge also includes a small boat launch for kayaking/canoeing a small section of the creek. That area was closed today due to low water levels. Great spot to spend a leisurely afternoon.
