Beautiful park,
Lots of opportunities for
Solitude and quiet

Beautiful hike with easy to follow trails, and not too many other people. I'm not sure I would call this a "Hard" trail as advertised. Although there were some steep parts, it was a very small part of this 7.5 mile trail. So don't let that designation scare you off! If I can do it, so can you!

Love the app

Great day hiking with puppies. They loved playing in the water, and it exhausted them

pretty good trail. A decent amount of elevation gain, but I prefer more of a workout. Would definitely hike this one again if I was in the area.

On another note, has anyone besides me experienced any, um,, strange encounters near the bridge?

Long hike to clear the mind. Sweetwater Creek is a beautiful element of this hike.

Not bad considering it's 30-40min from Atlanta. Nothing crazy though.

Great trail with amazing views. Hard at some areas but moderate. Definite repeat.

Very, very crowded, which I guess is to be expected since it was a gorgeous day with mild temperatures in the middle of winter, and the park is close to a big population center. Still we were surprised that there were just hundreds and hundreds of cars all trying to find a place to park. But there are enough trails that once you get off of the paved ones and heavily traveled ones down to the old mill, it starts to clear out and after that, it was really nice. Some moderate ups and downs, but nothing too steep. I'm not sure why this trail is rated "hard". It was definitely not hard (and we are in our 50's). We followed the track of this trail exactly, and our GPS said 7.8 miles, so almost exactly right on. a 5-star for sure and we'll be back.

Great afternoon hike with dogs or kids. The trail does have a incline and decline but is still an easy trail with view of the river

Winter hiking here is great because there are not a lot of people. The dogs really like all of the water The dogs enjoy that they can run around a bit on this trail since it’s away from the popular side of the park. The downside is bare trees and a lot of leaves on the trail so you don’t know where your feet are going to step.

Go!!! Beautiful park. Hikes are not too challenging and the scenery is wonderful.

Beautiful park!!! Fall colors are wonderful!!

Nice trail with great scenery just outside Atlanta.

Great workout and very scenic. Boots recommended lots of tree roots and rocks on this combo.

Another nice trail in sweatwater creek state park

Red and white trail together makes a great hike.
Nice trail close to Atlanta

Awesome trail lots of history!

Great trail. Easy to follow. Beautiful river side sections & some good hills.

Great trail. Easy to follow. Beautiful river side sections & some good hills.

The trail is very straightforward and just follow the direction and trail. It has some good elevation but I would rate this as hard if you are in even okay shape. Make sure you bring enough water especially in the summer.

good trail. very challenging. like the water rapid

One of my favorite trails. Such a beautiful hike

If you take the yellow trail and jump onto the orange than finish with the yellow it is about 7.5 miles with almost no traffic and good elevation. The white trail is mainly for dog walkers but still a good trail. Black berries are just starting to ripen. Makes a good snack as long as your away from the dog trail. You can think about that one. Lol

Really pretty with a few deers and if you take a detour towards the water you get a really pretty view. Take your swimsuit just incase you want to get in.
