A must see! I did not realize that we had trees that big in Georgia.

Kids loved it and so did the dogs!!

We love this trail.

Simple walking path with a small creek that crosses it. I liked the many mushrooms/toadstools along the trail, but maybe much better as a biking trail.

This app says "out and back" with the miles. Does that mean TOTAL hike miles, or it is ONE WAY hike miles?

Nice well maintained trail but I’d recommend hitting it thru the week. If you only have time on the weekends plan on arriving early to avoid the bike traffic and even then keep you head on a swivel! Otherwise it’s not a bad trail for a short day hike.

So so more for biking

Wide gravel road all the way from the road to the radio towers on top. Much litter and trash steadily piling up, but look past that to the forest and the rocks and the vistas. The overgrown house beneath the power lines marks where the road starts climbing steeply up Currahee. Lots of unimaginative graffiti at the top (compare with the School Bus Graveyard on 365), and the high frequency sounds near the towers might bleed into your meditation time while enjoying eastern horizon gazing. The western side of the mountain has anchors for rappelling and nooks for climbing. Combine the Sink Trail with the Currahee trail on the southeastern side and you have a nice workout.

lots of great steady incline. perfect amount of time for a day hike.

Long drive down sketchy road but easy hike at end. Did seem good ways before we saw our first Georgian waterfall. Good time and nice easy hike

It’s a great exercise trail and perfect for biking.

The trail is no longer a loop. A simple up and back. Nothing spectacular to see. It is easy/moderate and a nice hike but no real points of interest. Personally I was hoping for views like the pictures uploaded but this is a wall in the woods. Nice, but nothing special.

If you click the Directions arrow through Google Maps, it does not take you to the lower parking area with the easiest access to the trail. The link takes you to the upper which is a 2 mile forest service road walk. The trail is beautiful once you arrive on it.

We didn’t complete this trail- we made it about halfway with our kids. Still great and would love to come back and hike the entire thing. Kids were worn out about a mile in. Steady incline.

awesome trails to bike

Just back from the lower trail of green mountain. Easy walk up to the end of the trail where you can see blue ridge lake. Beautiful . It’s Friday and passed by 3 persons. Ideal with my dog. Also close to downtown blue ridge for food and drink when done.

Nice trail, well maintained. Either way you loop is nice. A trail for a stroll, not very difficult.

Small hike but really nice!!

Breathtakingly beautiful. There’s even stairs!

If you hike the whole loop its a really decent hilly hike. Its not a very scenic or pretty hike but its good for exercise. I tracked 5 miles on the fitbit. I hiked it counterclockwise so the waterfall was at the tail end. Be prepared to have wet socks and shoes tho... there are 2 shin/knee deep creek crossings with no logs or stones to step on. The waterfall is quite pretty and easily accessed.

Enjoyable short trail. Beautiful area

Great time of year to see the forest. We took the loop to the right at the fork and would recommend it this way. There is a nice lunch spot when you cross Flatt creek.

This is the perfect time of year to enjoy this hike. You can see through the forest of naked trees and soak in the true contour of the mountain ravines, ridges and rises. We took the lollipop loop to the right and would recommend that direction. There are quite a few creek and stream crossings that make lovely spots for lunch or just to sit, reflect and inhale. After the hike we kept driving down towards the Toccoa River and enjoyed a refreshing brew and apps at Toccoa Riverside. A day well lived.

Great with kids!

A nice morning hike for the first day of spring!!! A couple other hikers are out this morning as well. Squirrels and chipmunks are all along the trail. In and out by noon. Great trail for a quick day hike!!

Daughter was in a leg cast just in time for vacation so I needed some trails that were paved or easy to maneuver with our jogging stroller. This did the trick. We were able to hike along the river while the rest of our party did the stairs to the bottom of the gorge.

Nice trail. Well marked. Beautiful stream that meanders along portions of the trail.

it was a nice trail but was sore afterwords it was my first five or 6 mile walking trail I’ve been on so you can tell I’m not in shape lol

This is a fairly challenging trail run as most of the trail has exposed rock, scree, roots, and other debris. The trail is maintained by a local Pinhoti Trail organization and they do an excellent job removing downed trees and keeping the trail well marked with the unique Pinhoti blaze.
Mostly single track with some short FS roads at Dug Mountain and Stover Creek.
Expect some climbing, mostly short rollers with a few that are steeper/longish.
There's limited water sources and access for water drops but it is achievable with some research and planning.
Overall, this is a great trail for running/training and/or casual hiking.

Dog friendly hike as long as you arrive early in the morning. Anything after 11 AM you’re going to start running into other folks arriving on the trail. I recommend going counterclockwise -that way you end up with water at the end of the trail. This only matters if you have dogs and wish them to have the ability to to cool down.
There is enough of an incline so that you’ll feel like you got a work out. 3rd or 4th time I have hiked and generally has quite a bit of solitude.
