It’s nice, the gnats were pretty bad today, but overall it’s a great trail for hiking. Pretty good for biking, a couple of steeper parts but overall good. This is a good trail but there are probably better trails at Cochran Mill Park.

Beautiful trail very kid friendly.

Be careful of the bikers. It can get a little scary on the trail with the bikers but the waterfall is well worth the journey!

Great experience, well maintained trails.

it was kind of hard to find the trail near the waterfall. it actually runs just along the left hand side of the falls other than that it is well blazed. I would recommend this trail but just a heads up there is a $5 parking fee.

Beautiful hike. Completed it on a sunny Saturday and only saw a few bikers and horses. Waterfalls and butterflies. Credit card option for 5$ parking fee which is nice and clearly goes to maintaining the park. Restrooms were clean and maintained.

Great trail with nice view up close of the falls. Beware of snakes on path, saw two of them. One small, one pretty large. Large one was a rattlesnake

Decent trail and nice waterfall at the turnaround point. One negative though is the multitude of mtn bikers who are seemingly unaware that bikers are supposed to yield to hikers. As a former biker, I will almost always yield to bikers because I understand that they like to keep their momentum but not a single biker made any effort to yield. One even yelled at me as he approached head on, expecting me to step aside. Another was stopped on the trail talking with another biker who I assume was his son. He saw me coming 30 yards away and started riding again. Had I not yielded he would have run me over. It was ironic reading the guide for young bikers posted at the trailhead which reminded young bikers to yield to hikers. I will say though that they were almost all unfailingly polite as they offered a “thank you” as they pedaled through. I do not recommend hiking this trail on weekends when the trails are open to bikes.

Stunningly beautiful. Lots of different trails to follow

Awesome trail and beautiful waterfall

Same trail (different name!) as bear Creek and upper Wooten trail. Very pretty with all the recent rainfall.

I would classify this trail as "easy" rather than "moderate." The payoff at the falls is nice, but large stretches of the trail system are devoted to mountain biking, making for lots of long switchbacks, which aren't really hiker-friendly.

This was a beautiful trail but 3 miles of the trail is nonexistent due to downed trees and lack of upkeep. Thed trail across the road from parking has the most beautiful scenery and most waterfalls. Looks like they are cleaning up the back part of the trail, but highly recommend going at least once.

Been walking this trail since I was a kid. The back end of the trail really needs some clean up from downed trees. But I would recommend this to anyone. It’s worth the 5$ parking :)

beautiful hike! map was a little confusing especially the yellow Trail but it was all good.
