Weeki Wachee Springs State Park is famous for providing it visitors the opportunity to witness the magic of the mermaids. The 538-acre park features a first magnitude spring and a 400-seat submerged theatre for watching the live mermaid show. Visitors can also take a river boat cruise and canoe or kayak on the Weeki Wachee River or enjoy a picnic on one of the covered picnic pavilions. Fees $13 for adults and $8 for kids ages 6-12. Kids five and under are free.
