Lovely trail. Extremely hot! There is one short I place near where there’s a lake, that you cannot see, where there is a little water covering the trail... it’s easy enough to walk around it now, but if there is significant rain, it may be more difficult.

Trail is in excellent condition everywhere. Not overgrown at all. I didn’t actually get to see the lake that is found shortly after the initial turn to the right (you can just see a large clearing). It’s pretty darn hot, even in the morning! Bring water!!!

Really cool, well maintained trail. Lots of good hills to shake things up a bit if you’re used to flat Florida hiking

Beautiful trail that the dogs and I enjoyed. Wide path in the beginning that turned into a winding single track with lots of shade. Chose to do a hike out and back this time instead of a loop so we could see some of the Creek Sink Trail. Would love to go back on a day I don’t have other obligations so I can take my time and explore more.

Nice well marked trail. Sandy in some spots. Slight elevation changes to get your heart rate up. Overall a beautiful hike

A 1 day ride. Lots of tree canopy in the Preserve and very well marked trails. Accessed core trails from main Trail Head off of 63rd Blvd. Many great trails, lots of blues and interesting blacks. Nice warm up green is Meadow View so enjoy it. Best blue trail is Sweet Gum. Didn’t make it to Dogwood or Pine For You due to rain but a local recommended it. A misleading black trail is Tung Nut and it’s a graded grass cut trail that is not fun. Several picnic areas in case of rain at park entrance as well as restrooms. Not much traffic but we were there mid week. No critter sightings but several hikers on shared trails. Recommend Deep Woods OFF. Highly recommend and will return and ride Dogwood and Pine For You.

This trail is ok, but it was a little grown over, and a portion isn’t shaded. I prefer the ‘yellow’ (Spring Grove) trail. Use the AllTrails map, because there are many trails here and it’s easy to get off track. AllTrails maps have saved me (and my poor sense of direction) on more than one occasion. :)

Great for trail running - well marked trails and pretty much entirely shaded, perfect for summer! I brought my dog along and he loved it. There was one moderate climb but it was short and the rest of the trail was basically flat - highly recommend and will be back!

Great, quick hike on a very pretty trail. There’s a stream and a bridge. It doesn’t take long to lose the road noise.

Great trail if you want a really nice relaxing walk in the woods. No frills, ponds, etc, but some wildlife sighting. Minimal traffic.

Old Spanish Way is officially reopened May 2020! Not loving the reopened trail so much because about 2 miles of it is no longer shaded due to clear cutting the pine trees due to pine beetle infestation. The rest of the trail which is shaded (part of Spring Grove trail) is nice though. Saw a few deer & some pretty wildflowers. They added some small benches along the way, but I wouldn’t sit down, due to deer flies! Still was nice to re-experience this trail after being closed for over two years!

Clear path but not a lot to see along the way. I went to the right upon entrance and had some of what I thought was strenuous moderate uphill walking at the end. Very peaceful.

Overall good quite trail. Not much to see other than woods unless you happen to run into wildlife.

Decided to make the hour drive to go see this trail with my dog. The 14 mile loop is only for mountain biking. It does allow for dogs to be on the trail. So I decided to go on the horse trail right next to the entrance. That trail doesn’t allow dogs. So before you go make sure you do more research on the trail than this app.

This was a nice trail. Friendly people and lots of dogs. So many trees so many different kinds. I saw three Deer, 2 pheasant, a Robin, Cardinals, an owl. A few crater looking holes that look to be sinkholes perhaps.

I like the extended route on this trail, I recommend going around counter clockwise so the harder bit is at the end!

8 miles using my GPS and compass not 5.5. One mile is under power lines. There is small pond or sink hole for viewing. More boring local hike but good for walking exercise. Note there are two trails with same name listed here- this one has extra loop. Download correct map. I can’t correct this listing.

Alltrails map is wrong. Trail does go through where it shows it ending at two points. Thankful I brought a compass and ignored this map when Marine on trail said GPS and map definitely wrong. You will hike 8 miles or get lost otherwise (I hear many stories of people getting lost for hours). Hike itself is like walking down any dirt road here. The trail is a wide road with no turns or hills. We did see a bear and 3 cute cubs on trail that growled. My friend was terrified. Know what to do with bears. Very easy hike but bring water. Note that park map at trailhead says Spring Hill- Yellow blaze is 4 mile loop and Alltrails says 6 miles. Let your GPS decide. One missed turn will make it 10 miles.

Closed. Possibly for years ahead due to endangered species. Attempt to take from backside can add miles to another hike. People leaving reviews are illegally hiking this.

Was a more moderate trail than I am used to but all things considered was still a nice experience full of wildlife and friendly people. Was a bit sandy and dusty but nothing too major. Was a great day for the trail. Defiantly plan on going again!

I just did a shorter variation of this conquistador trail. After the actual conquistador part I was done. Very nice trails though.
