Good mtb trail for beginners.

Hiked 4 miles with wiener dogs in tow. First 2/3 is a nice moderate hike with ups and downs. Last bit is a really beautiful walk near the water. Will return!

Very beautiful. Definitely will go back.

Nice trail with lots of trees and shade much of the way. Total distance according to my iPhone was 2.9 miles for the loop. It’s nice that they have the bike and hiking trails separated. We saw several alligators and turtles.

Great trails. They range from moderate to difficult and are very peaceful and easy to navigate. The lake and the poles (surfer spot) are gorgeous. One of the premier parks in NE Florida.

Decent if all you have to stay local to ride. Good workout. If the tourists would read the signs and not hike on a biking trail, it’d be much better. Lots of roots, some flow areas, a couple of short but sharp ascents (descents depending on the day of the week) and a good test of a bike with or without suspension.

For north Florida mountain biking, this is a fun trail to get some technical (loosely used here) riding and even some nice uphills to practice on. Great trail for when you have to stay local.

Amazingly Beautiful Trails!
I can’t help but be impressed with these trails.
I was very pleased with the condition, variety and simple beauty of the various trails. The trails themselves are very well maintained and there are a variety of skill levels to be had. From a few flat straightaways to many hairpin turns, to the unlimited rises & falls, all while constantly needing to dodge the unlimited obstacles placed in your way. Needless to say, I found the “More Difficult E-Line Loop” more than enough of a challenge for a guy my age.
In addition to the good condition I found the trails to be in, I was blown away by the scenic images I was exposed to. From the beautiful lakes, rivers, trees and friendly woodland creatures- to the not-so-friendly alligators I saw “sunning” themselves atop logs in the water.
I really didn’t expect to be that close to them.
In fact, at one point of the trail, if you fall off your bike to the left side, you will end up in an extremely thick swamp where an alligator is waiting just under the waters’ surface to snack on you or anyone else that may fall into this guys’ territorial waters. YIKES! I’m not kidding folks.
***I would seriously recommend everyone take a buddy with them for company & protection while riding here.
I found the above, as well as the many other amazing experiences I have had here, reason to RAISE my score of this Parks’ Trails rather than lower it. I feel that I (and I think most other Mt. Bikers), choose to ride my bike in the woods for just this reason. If i wanted to ride my bike on a flat concrete surface and see nothing i would be riding in the streets right?
But if you ARE looking for an amazing experience every time you ride your Mt. Bike- this is definitely a great place to ride!

Started at the front gate to add more miles. Wish I had this app last weekend. Still have no idea how far we hiked. Beautiful hike and lots of options of views.

If you go early in the morning, beware you will hit every spider web on the trail.

This trail is awesome! This may be a little difficult for beginning riders. The trail is covered by a canopy and has many fun winding turns.

Great trail! It's well maintained. There was a couple spots I had to guess which trail to take, but for the most part it's well marked.

One of my favorites around Jax. Trail signs are somewhat confusing, but lots of beautiful scenery. Saw an alligator!

Relatively flat, good trail, almost constant twisting path 1 hour or less to ride

Nice little trail system. Wasn't too keen on paying $5 to hike it, but it was fairly secluded and pretty. Most people seemed to be on the mountain bike trail, and I only saw one other guy hiking. I didn't find the trail system confusing at all like previously reported.

Loved it! Physically and mentally was not ready for all the South Trail had to offer which made completing it that much better. Twists, turns, roots, logs, uphill and downhill...great ride to hone skills and learn on.

My daughter's first mountain bike ride. She wanted to do the moderate one, so we did. She did very well. A lot of quick turns, mud, and fun! We'll be back! We had a great time!

Mountain bike trails are the bomb! So pretty, and very well maintained! Would give 5 stars, but the end of the trails could use better markings to the exit/parking lot. Well worth a trip just for mountain biking though. Will definitely be coming again! Oh and we love that the tracks are single directional, so we don't worry about running into anyone. Great trails.

Nestled in the middle of a heavily populated area, Hanna Park is an amazing place to enjoy the outdoors. Only a ten minute drive from my house, I popped over today to hike the full loop. The trail is quiet and secluded for most of the track. There is little change in elevation except for the occasional dip and hill, which is typical for Florida; however it is not uninteresting. There is plenty to do and see and every time I go I ask myself "why do I not come here more often".
