The Fakahatchee Strand Preserve State Park, is located just west of Copeland, Florida a thread of forested strand (swamp) in Big Cypress. The park fosters a high level of rare and endangered tropical plant species. Visitors can enjoy Kayaking, canoeing and have many opportunities for plant and wildlife viewing. Fees $3 per vehicle
