Very nice and a little short nature walk! Not many bugs at all when we went. Saw a very large hawk!

This trail is very accslessibel, short, and mostly shaded. I saw people with strollers and small children. The path is a bit uneven but paved so very accessible.

Make sure you hit all 3 parts of the park. Flamingo, Royal Palm and Sharkvalley. Lots of wildlife, beautiful birdwatching. Bring a canoe for the Flamingo Center Area. Next time I come back we will most definitey have one rentals were not available during our visit. Do Not Forget your Sunblock and Bugspray!! I’d love to camp there someday. Easy 3 day stay here. There are gator grill restaurants just outside the park for adventurous gator bites and tacos

Went in early May, with this being one of the few trails open in the pandemic. But what a nice trail it was. BUGS SPRAY IS ESSENTIAL OR YOU WILL NOT MAKE IT. We attempted once, then couldn’t make it 5 minutes without bugs spray and then it was much more manageable with it. The bugs on this trail are vicious! After the bugs, again it is beautiful. Only took us roughly 45 minutes and the lookout at the end was gorgeous. Highly recommended as it is easy (with bugs spray), fun and has a great pay off.

An easy half mile with an interesting take on lakes, as the pink coloring defies laws of nature. I tried to looking it up & I still don’t know why it’s pink, but you should try to find that out! Fascinating though, and beautiful to look at.

A fun drive to see so many lakes and grasslands that you wouldn’t normally find at other National Parks in the country. Have an open mind to beauty when it comes to this park, as it comes in many forms, and this drive is spectacular.

just tried to access this trail but the road is blocked off by police due to COVID-19 (update May 17: its open again!)

Scouted this trail today for condition, repairs needed, and locations of said repairs. This one....is a mess. Hopefully it will be coming up on the rotation for maintenance soon after the park is open again.

This appears to be one of the least maintained trails in the Everglades. It definitely shows you some areas most people don't normally get to see. If you are lucky you might spot the remnants of the original town of Flamingo. You definitely have to work for this one as it was damaged pretty severely by Hurricane Irma, it floods occasionally, is pretty muddy, and pretty overgrown. I understand there is a lot going on in the parks so I'll just assume this trail is meant to be a little more wild!

A boardwalk trail for the most part with a variety of plant life and a high concentration of epiphytes. This is one of our favorites in the Everglades just for photography and plant ID. Buggy normally with yellow flies occasionally.

This is a great paved path for anyone to view the variety of plant life found in a tropical hammock at Everglades National Park. It can be buggy to very buggy. If you are ever in South Florida you should have bug spray all the time!

A heavily visited trail that gives visitors of all ages and abilities the chance to view Everglades wildlife. There hasn't been a time we've been that it wasn't crowded so if you are looking to escape crowds this one may not be for you.

I call this the "tourist" trail. It is crowded but well worth it. Plenty of wildlife and there are usually a lot of gators roaming the area which is really cool.

Der etwas andere Trail. Etwa 1/3 der Strecke ist sehr schlammig oder überflutet (max. 30cm). Der Rest ist stark bewachsen, es fällt schwer zu erkennen, woher es geht. Möglich, aber abenteuerlich!
