Nice trail, but it was a little hard to navigate. Might be partially because it was completely flooded when we were there. Would like to go back and see it during a dryer season. Writing this review much later time then when we visited it.

Loved finding the little river area and exploring. Super friendly hike and saw some wildlife.

great trail to spend an hour or so hiking. pay attention to the red blazes - it's easy to get pulled from the main path.

Great trail with diverse wooded views

This is a great set of trails taking you from pine flatwoods to bay swamp to cypress trees along the river.

Living beside this trail, it has become my nature sanctuary. Although the trail itself is not extremely long, there is still an abundance of wildlife and plant life to see, and since everything is connected in a loop, it is relatively easy to find your way back. In areas where the trail meets the river, it is certainly a beautiful thing to see and as long as there is no flooding, having access to certain breaks in the trail makes it an unforgettable experience.

I take my dog and ride my bicycle through this trail. The woods are open in some areas and the trail runs into the river. When the water is lower is great to play around in, the dog loves it. Very pretty area.

I really like this trail, but parts of it will be under water and impassable after lots of rain. Also, if you bring your dog here, make sure that you check them very well for ticks! My dog always has a few after coming here

Great park. Did the loop had a lot of shade which made it a comfortable walk at the beginning of September in Florida. Get there early or late afternoon because there isn’t much way for a breeze to get through foliage. There are parts of the trail that were muddy but only one part that we did not go through because there wasn’t a way around the wet mud. This trail was easy enough for me to tackle my third week of recovery from neck fusion surgery. Easy going not elevation changes.

I love this trail , I lived beside this trail for almost 15 years .

nice relaxing trail that is very easy to navigate. you will see animals and it runs right by the river.

Fir over 15 years, I’ve enjoyed hiking and riding this trail network. By far, it’s one of the best small trails in the region. However, there is a tree near Rybolt’s Reserve which is leaning on a powerline and has been since hurricane Irma. This is definitely a safety issue as it crosses a portion of the trail.

I have very mixed feelings of this trail. The majority of it was closed off due to the boardwalk being under construction, so I only got to hike about a quarter mile. HOWEVER, in that short time span I saw both an armadillo and an otter so it was definitely worth the visit. I’ll go back in about two weeks to try and do the whole thing. Definitely worth looking into.

A beautiful trail to Hike. Parts of the trail were flooded after Hurricane Irma, but was still passable. We went during the middle of the day so we did not get to see much wildlife, but we were lucky enough to see a Red Tail Hawk, a 5' Alligator and a Pigmy Rattlesnake on the trail. Although there is limited parking at the Trail Head, the Trail seemed to be heavily traveled by other hikers. This trail is relatively close to my house so I will be going back to hike it again.

The trails were fairly well marked, and the route featured a lot of shade and beautiful oak trees. My only suggestion is not to hike this trail during rainy season, as we were not able to complete the loop due to the river covering the trail. We had to turn around and go back the way we had come.

beautiful trail, nice and shaded, goes to the river, great for dogs!

Perfect trail for a quick evening hike. I don't think I'd enjoy this trail in the middle of the day as it wasn't shaded most of the time.

A great trail for beginners. I take my friends who have never been hiking before here. You frequently see other people here, particularly UCF students.

A nice and easy flat hike with the dog. A little narrow at points but a great way to spend an hour in the afternoon to get outdoors and clear your head.

Easy, flat, beautiful FL woods; less than 2mi away from UCF campus. Watch for trail markers-- could easily miss a turn. Mostly tree-canopied footpath.
