Me and my fiancé’s first nature hike together

great trail well manta gorgeous views

The trail leaves the river . Don't worry you did not miss the trail just follow the blazes and it makes it a little further. it's very scenic and very remove.

This trail is a true North Florida gem! Needs a little maintenance but still a great trail. Did the outer loop (4.5 miles) which started with the Sinks Trail and connected to the Gum Swamp Trail to get the maximum distance.

60 % of trail has been controlled burned.. several times through low lying areas the trail was completely under water. Recent storms have damaged a few of the foot bridges. With a little work and allowing time for the undergrowth to grow back this would be a great trail,

Nice easy trail with just the right changes in terrain and scenery. The Tupelo Swamp was the highlight of hike.

The trail follows the river to a point. Then the trail goes away from the river and seems to leave the route on the map. However, it was easy to turn around and head back to the trail head.
I’ll explore this trail again.

Beautiful hike during the fall and winter months

Great trail running spot!

Nice trail, very pretty river which is stained dark with tannic acid from the trees. So don’t be afraid to get it, it’s clean, cool, and refreshing.

The trail seems to have recently been remapped so there a lot of different paths that don't show up on the map. Also when driving there you're on dirt/sand roads for about 6 miles. Don't worry you're going the right way.

It was alright when I went back in June. The sinks were a nice blue color and there is a small cave that was pretty neat. Just be prepared for a LOT of bugs during the summertime and the typical Florida heat.

This was a good trail, but the mosquitoes were terrible yesterday. But, we are in Florida in summer, so bring the bug spray.

Great and beautiful run. Some hills, which are great, considering we live in Wakulla County!

Leon Sinks is more scenic and more fun to run, but the two together are just under 4 miles.

Way better than I expected, the Sinks were incredible and going in November was the perfect weather for it. Definitely recommend!!!

It's a very nice trial, but very hot in the summer. Bringing adequate water is a must. I would definitely have enjoyed this trail better in the winter.

Awesome little hike. Really well marked and maintained. It was a little tricky to find but that's NOT the parks fault. 2 of the sink holes are just plain cool. Especially Big Dismal.

Pretty hike. Interesting place but all fairly anticlimactic.

This is the perfect time of year to go. Very few bugs and the sinks are a gorgeous blue. Between sinks though there wasn't much to see.

We hiked both trails for a total of about 5.5 miles. Easy hike. The wet sinks were gorgeous. The rest weren't anything to write home about. Did enjoy the signs along the trails with tidbits of info and trails were very well marked!

Do not follow these directions to the site! Go to the main sinks parking lot. Tons of ticks and mosquitoes at least in summer. Maybe a better trail for winter. The location mentioned here is actually dangerous and do not go alone.
