A nice mix of water and woods. This trail was a joy although way too short.

A nice walk into the marshland. Starting from wildlife drive, the trail crosses a few hundred feet of boardwalk before hitting dry land. Then the trail splits into a loop, following waters edge first on the left trail and looping back through a more wooded trail.

Trails are okay. Nice view of the water but the bugs are awful. Couldn't enjoy much because of this. However, did drive on the one loop and this was quite nice. Safe from the bugs!

Nice woodland and water views all the way out the peninsula. It sticks out into Shearness pool.

I loved the tower trail off the main road.

By the time we got to this pool they were all starting to look alike. The name, "Bear Swamp" is really cool.

A nice trail running out a peninsula. There is no tower on this one but a lot of nice views along the way.

Another nice little trail into a 30 foot steel tower. The views are incredible.

All three of the 30 foot steel towers offer incredible views. This on is no exception. The little trail in is nice too.

This loop is closed off so you have to do it on a fat tire bike or in a big letter C to go by car. I loved the hiking trails too.

Maybe this was the best pool because it was the beginning of a long day of looking at them.

This was our first pool (lake) The tower trail and the birding trail of the loop were awesome.

This is closed off a mile down but that is where the best views are,

Not much to see until you get to the turn around point. The Shearness Loop is cut off at this point.

A nice loop around a lake. There are hiking trails into the Searness Tower and at Parsons Point

This was a nice little side trail down to the water. There was an old wooden viewing ladder but I did not trust it. I already climbed the 30 foot steel tower on the tower trail.

This is a nice little side trail off the Raymond Tower Trail. About half way to the tower, look for a more primitive trail on your left. It will take you down to the water.
