I am not a regular hiking person. It took me one hour forty five minutes to finish the blue trail. It was rocky, a lot of up and down. It's not easy for beginners. But if you want a good workout, this is the one. By the way, there are a lot of mosquitoes. Just be prepared.

Had a lot of fun here, the technical parts were much more challenging than i expected (consider myself an intermediate rider) but that just means i have something to work towards! I did the blue trail counter clockwise with the first half being very technical and the second being fun and flowy with smaller jumps. I think go counter clockwise if you want techy/xc and clockwise if you want more enduro style as there were some larger drops facing this way. Kudos to those who do the trail maintenance! Would love to help you guys out sometime.

Technical, flow, and some fun features to play on.
This place has it all!

Went with family ... including seniors. Wonderful trail, enjoyable for everyone.

Loved this trail... markings got a bit confusing once or twice though!

Great trails, easy to navigate.

Great trail with lots of up and down. Pretty rocky and well maintained.

A very fun albeit fairly technical trail within Wilton Woods.

It is recommended to take it counter-clockwise (turn right as you enter the park from Branch Brook Road). The East section if very rocky, mostly ascending but with a lot of switchbacks. The West section is a bit less rocky, and midway you can access the red trail which is a must-do albeit very technical trail with lots of turns drops and tree trunks.

There is a short white trail that connects the East and West parts midway, and an orange trail that follows the river.

Overall this trail and park have a lot to offer for the intermediate to advanced mountain bike rider.
