As I walked the blue and blue/red marked trails, the day was cool, but good for a spring day. my first time here since the 70s, since my family and work kept me away from the area. But I very much enjoyed this day of 7.5 miles. My daily hikes are between 5 and 10 miles per day, as I rebuild myself after serious surgery two years ago. I very much had a good few hours here.

Awesome can walk really fast if u want to

So long as you don’t mix up the trails...it is a nice scenic hike. We, however, entered at the “end” of the trail which was the mattabassett trail and ended up staying on that one as opposed to the pond trail. Our 1.5 mike hike turned into a four mile one...with our three kids rock climbing in parts. We ended up coming out onto a service road, hopping the fence and then walking along roadway to get back to trailhead.

We did way more than the 1.4 mile loop. Took the yellow blue trail out to the end. Was on a service road for a bit. Then took the blue trail around and back. There were steeps, rocky terrain , cliffs and boulders. But mostly a nice hike for intermediate hikers. Although I would recommend boots and not sneakers. But definitely doable.
We did 4.24 miles after working a 9 hour day. I was a bit tired to say the least after all was said and done.

Great moderate hike. We kept on going for about 2 hours, not realizing how far in you can get. The views are quickly spectacular and on hot days, you can swim in the park across the way or just hike the shorter trails there!

Entrance is shared with some sketchy looking house but once past the house the trails are open, wide but flat. Alot of horse manure on trails as well

It started off great on the blue trail along the lake but when I got to the rear of the lake the blue kept going further into the woods not looping, so thank God for the All trail GPS, you have to pick up the yellow trail then the red trail for the loop.Besides that it is a nice walk lots of solitude.

I havn't hit all of the trails yet but I intend to. What I've seen so far is beautiful. The trails on the North side by Turkey Hill Reservoir and between Filley Rd and Beaver Meadow Rd can be fast and fun. The mix of some loose stone and fallen trees on hard packed single track with decent grades can provide a great work out. The trails are generally short and don't seem to be any more than a few miles at most between roads.

I've only ridden on one trail by Pattaconk Reservoir. The challenge on this trail was completely and utterly rocks. It's possible to navigate through many of the rocks but there are places where only the highly skilled can pass without walking. A few small streams require dismount. I did not map this trail but I'll try in the future as long as my iPhone doesn't give out.
